The outside appearance is not great. Inside the room was very clean and had been updated somewhat. Large spacious room with plenty of area to put our belongings. Quiet at night so we slept well in a comfortable bed. We got a friendly welcome on arrival by the desk clerk.

The staff made us welcome by putting on the AC for us prior to arrival. A little worried about the water in the shower as it dammed up quite quickly and run out under the door ( 3 way shower with solid wooden door) Bed was the best on our trip,

Ok for one night

This motel is ok for one night. It had an open bathroom which I don’t like. There was no plates, cutlery or wine glasses. The microwave oven was very old but I don’t know if it worked or not. Overall the property is dated and needs some attention. The lady at the reception desk was very friendly and accomodating.

The Mayfair is a reasonably priced motel. The room & bathroom have been recently painted & tiled. It was a comfortable stay and did fine for one night. The Hotel Cosmopolitan down the road had nice meals. I would stay again.
