A winner!
Very pleasantly surprised.... a good, old fashioned inn with comfortable rooms, a good restaurant serving honest food and a team of cheerful and helpful staff. Would not hesitate to revisit when next in the area. To note - the entrance to the car park is narrow you've been warned!

Mid week stay
Very good breakfasts, very comfortable beds. Car parking a challenge due to narrow entrance. Showers a challenge too as no shower screen. Spacious bathroom.

Visiting to Crickhowell
Staff were very friendly and helpful. For us the narrow entrance to the car park was too much of a risk so we paid to use the public car park. We should have asked for a walk in shower and no stairs so unfortunately there were two flights of stairs and we were unable to use the bath (a learning curve!). The food was great and we would recommend the hotel to other visitors (taking into account the above),

Think the lady in charge Needs a carer' change.
Hate putting on a bad review.
But from the outside the place is beautiful. Inside the pub looks very nice to.
Arrived to what seamed to be a staff meeting in the hotel bar. The owner was quite rude and uninterested in our arrival. A lovely you man came to help and showed us to our room. The room was very small a attic room. Could do wth a bit of tlc. We booked for a evening meal which was nice. Once again the owner needs to change her job!
Breakfast was dreadful greasy mushrooms had fried egg we asked for poached.
Once again the owner well she was so miserable and rude.

We very much enjoyed our stay again at The Dragon. Lovely location in centre of Crickhowell. Staff were very friendly and helpful and excellent customer service despite being very busy. Food was excellent.Very clean room. The only challenge was driving our car through the very narrow entrance to the car park but appreciate that the building is very old and no cars back then!

The dragon Inn, Crickhowell.
Lovely hotel in the heart of Crickhowell with its lovely scenery and plenty of pubs and eateries. Rooms were of a reasonable size and very clean and comfortable. We had a lovely rainfall shower and a lovely comfortable bed. The staff were very polite and helpful. Very reasonably priced.
