Good value hotel which is upgrading the rooms at the moment. Our room had obviously been recently renovated and was brilliant with everything you would want from a small hotel room. Great shower/ all modern sockets with usb/ good tv with internet connection/ air conditioning which was very good. The bar area really needs some attention with ripped seats and scared walls where old air conditioners have been removed but it does look like work is being done all over the hotel to update and improve all facilities while still being open for business. All in all a solid 8.5 out of 10 for the price.

Hotel is nothing to look at from the outside, lots of maintenance work going on inside, car park difficult to find and not many spaces. Staff were great, friendly and helpful. Room was nice, it was a new refurbished one. Bed and sofa bed comfy, WiFi was hit and miss. We had a problem with a leak somewhere which soaked the carpet, staff were very good but there wasn’t a lot they could do with the hotel being fully booked, gave us towels to put on the floor. Would book again but once all renovation work was completed.

The outside of the building/ car park looked very run down/unkempt but we were pleasantly surprised by the room which had been refurbished ( which the whole hotel is undergoing at present).. comfy bed & pillows , clean , new furniture & bathroom. Only downside was the noise from the window.. sounded like there was no glass - needs to be thickened or a soundproof grille available for the nighttime
