Clean and Friendly Budget Option

This motel is a budget friendly option. We have steered clear of Motel 6 for a few years, but were pleasantly surprised at this one. The hotel has a lovely pool/hot tub area. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. As a budget hotel, there was no breakfast onsite but the Denny's down the road was great! As a budget hotel, it also is need of a bit of tlc, but everything was very clean. I would definatley recommend this hotel.

Yuck

I was hesitant to book this place. And now I remember why. It’s a dump. It smells so funky! I thought maybe it was just the lobby but when we entered our room, it smells like dirty laundry. Yuck. We washed our hands in the bathroom sink and the water stayed in the sink.

It looked the same with the lights off as any othe

TV would not work but I generally dont watch tv at hotels so not a big deal. AC wouldnt work, but window did open so it was ok. Otherwise hottub and pool were good. Staff was friendly besides housekeeping in the morning - 11am is bad enough for a checkout time, but to have housekeeping knock at 9am, 10am,1055am - I thought was a little excessive. (I never understand that - clean the rooms of the people that left early and kind leave me alone). No do not disturb sign for door and that disturbed me as well

Best Motel 6

This motel 6 was great. Stayed for 5 days. The staff were all friendly. It was fairly clean. The pool and hottub area were great. Of course it is possible sketchy people could be around with the convenient location near so much. There are lots of places to eat in the area and the mall nearby. Very budget friendly place to stay. Would recommend it over some of the more expensive hotels in Minot. The only thing missing is breakfast!

Quirky building to navigate

I have stayed at this Motel 6 previously but forgot that it is a confusing hotel to get around in. This hotel has several entrances labelled A,B,C & D and you need to know which entrance is closest to your room. The first floor is a sub-basement which means you do have to go down 4 or 5 steps to reach the hallway. However, the desk clerks are really good at getting you to the correct door. It is clean and the beds are comfortable although the mattresses are starting to show their age. They are still quite comfortable but are softer than I like due to wear. It won’t be long before they are lumpy. There is no breakfast offered which might be off putting for some but doesn’t really matter to me. Coffee and tea and a coffe maker are available in the room and a soft drink machine is near the exit doors. And the ultimate question? Would I stay there again? Definitely yes. A few quirks make life interesting!
