Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Hotel de Baak Seaside sehr genossen! Besonders beeindruckend war die gemütliche Lounge, in der stets Kaffee und Tee zur Verfügung standen – ein wunderbarer Ort zum Entspannen. Unser Zimmer mit herrlichem Meerblick war ein absolutes Highlight. Den Sonnenaufgang über dem Wasser zu beobachten, war einfach traumhaft. Ich kann dieses Hotel allen empfehlen, die eine ruhige Auszeit direkt am Strand suchen.

OVERPRICED, INFLEXIBLE AND BAD SERVICE!

Overpriced and totally inflexible at EVERY TURN! Not worth the money. Breakfast is a complete let down, no bacon. When I asked a server if there was any bacon, she gave me a blank stare and said NO. That’s it! No explanation or we’ll get you some. Which buffet breakfast has no fried bacon at its buffet? No complimentary late checkout at all. Was told it would be €15 per hour in addition to my €200 per night fee for one person. Shower is crap, as it’s next to the toilet, so the entire bathroom gets flooded when the shower is used. There are many other hotels on the beachfront. Give Hotel De Baal Seaside a miss, FORVER!

Direkt am breiten und langen Strand

Lage war für uns direkt am Strand, eine ruhige Strasse liegt dazwischen, mit Parkplätzen auf der Straße wichtig. Wir hätten dem grundlegend sanierten Hotel gerne 5 Punkte gegeben, aber die Bäder wurden nur sehr einfach saniert. So wünscht man sich Bäder in Krankenhäusern, aber nicht in einem Hotel, dass wohl von einem professionellen Innenarchitekten eingerichtet wurde. Lobby-Bereich sehr angenehm, dort können Abende verbracht werden. Zimmer auch schön mit sehr komfortablen Betten. Check/In im Hotel war sehr kurz, weil wir bereits online eingecheckt hatten. Dafür sind die Passnummern aller Gäste notwendig. Das Frühstück war ohne Fleisch und Wurst, dafür mit viel Käse und Früchten. War prima und zu empfehlen sind heißen Käsetoast. Wir kommen wieder. Die Innenausstattung hat uns besonders gefallen mit den Barcelona Chairs.
