We checked in on Christmas Day 2025 and stayed 1 night. The hotel is in the heart of beautiful downtown Red Wing, MN. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays and was warm and inviting. We had brunch at the beautiful Scarlet Kitchen and Bar and the food and service could not have been better. The restaurant was busy, yet the vibe was elegantly relaxed. Our room was a beautiful union of history in modern times. The beautiful 4-post bed was so comfortable and I need to know where I can get a set of those bed sheets! So buttery soft—best night’s sleep! I will be back St. James Hotel. Highly recommend. Beautiful and quaint shops and dining on-site and within walking distance in Red Wing. Beautiful and historic.

Hotel beautiful as always with friendly staff! Had to call the front desk at 2:45AM regarding overly noisy and obnoxious people in room next door. Limited sleep.
