The room was clean although the decor is dated. Two challenges for me - only one light in the room on the wall. I had to ask for a bedside lamp. The staff was excellent at helping resolve that dilemma. The second issue was intermittent internet access.

Took a long time to get checked in as only one staff member on duty until the queue went out the door and someone else appeared. It is very central and directly over from the station. It was obviously once a fairly grand hotel which is being slowly renovated. My room was quite nice and the shower was great. The fire alarm went off 3 or 4 times in the middle of the night and was clearly broken. Breakfast is OK, the staff in the restaurant could do with neing friendlier though.
