Definitely not worth the money. To call the room a suite is false advertising. Not even drinking glasses in the kitchenette. It did appear clean but outdated, Paint peeling, tiles in bathroom cracked and stained. If not for the tub area I have seen larger bathrooms on an airplane.

Genuinely the only thing good about the room was that the AC could go down to 60°. There was a poop stain on the bathroom floor, a 3inch GAP under the front door that we had to plug up with towels so bugs wouldn’t get in, and the TV didn’t even have a speaker so it was useless. Extremely outdated rooms, the key cards working are a hit or miss. Black mold was growing on the shower curtain and the ceiling texture was PEELING off of the ceiling everywhere. My asthma and allergies have genuinely never been that bad in my life. They also kicked out a father and his small child that was staying next to us to clean the room at 10:30am… when checkout was at 11am. The prices do not reflect these conditions at all, I thought I was getting at least a decent room. Never again.

The expression don’t judge a book by its cover applies here. The exterior is & looks old but the room I was in appeared upgraded. The staff seemed to have a language barrier because the woman did not understand English when I asked for a copy of my room charges. The small pool appeared clean but I didn’t get to swim this trip, one reason is the pool is open only 9AM to Dusk. Breakfast not even continental is provided but the room had a one cup generic coffee maker, good working micro & mini fridge. The bed & pillows were most comfortable I slept very well. Last but not least the bathroom was well supplied with soap, shampoo & conditioner plus hair dryer.

We'd stay here again

Check-in was easy. The room was clean along with the bathroom. We had a room with a hot tub and it was also clean. It's close to downtown and other areas so you dont have to travel too far to get where you want to go. Vilano beach is also about 5 mins away. Very cute hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

I stay here pretty frequently at different times of the year. Never had an issue until today. When i stay i usually stay for a week or so at a time. I live in the area but use this hotel to just get away and relax. The owners son has now twice banged on my door like he's swat, he's very rude, very dismissive, just really not pleasant at all. He was complaining about me having company. Since when is having company at a hotel an issue? I don't have anyone sleeping over. He said he sees on the camera it's more than just me staying here. He said he had to come in and check the room. I said he could come in he walked in super fast, went right to the bathroom quickly turned around and walked out and slammed the door. Im really annoyed with this and feel this is ridiculous considering the amount of money i spend here.

The hotel is old but the room and bath were very clean with a hot shower and great water pressure. The bed was comfortable. The room also came with a fridge and microwave. When the sink plugged up the proprietor took care of it right away. It showed us that they care about their guests. Very reasonable price.
