The Melbourne Inn was in some backstreet away from the beach. However it was just a short walk away. Greeted very well on arrival. The attached Bistro had friendly staff and were very chatty. Very good standard of food. The only criticism would be the Bar closed at 6:30pm when the Bistro did. Not very good for people on vacation!!

Lovely little hotel staff really friendly lovely little pool and area if you don't fancy the beach or for us great on our last day so we didn't need to go far. Having the little kitchen in the studio was great for a quick cuppa on the balcony at Breakfast time. Air con and massive ceiling fan in the room was great too, nice big walk in shower.

I really enjoyed my stay here! All of the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room was very clean. My favorite amenities were the pool and restaurant in the building. It was very convenient and there were a lot of great options to choose from. It's also located a short walk away from the St. Lawrence Gap and Dover beach, so there's a lot of other food options to choose from. If you're traveling to Barbados, I definitely recommend staying here!

Great room, only thing that let it down was that it was next to the kitchen extractor fans which went on between 6,30 and 7 each morning and went off about 18.30, wasn’t a problem as I didn’t spend that much time in the room, very noisy neighbours got 2 nights but again not really the hotels fault, great little cafe for breakfast and lunches shame it wasn’t open later (food closed at 6 drinks 6.30) Would definitely stay here again x
