The hotel is unfortunately quite outdated. There was an overwhelming smell of heavily spiced cooking the permeated both the first a second floors - although it was less pronounced the two rooms we occupied. While there a pipe burst a few doors down in the hallway, contributing another, much worse smell, to the atmosphere. When we went to the front desk to let them know (given the tiles were bulging and water running to the ground) we were shooed away with "yes we know, someone is coming" - although clearly they were not putting down buckets or anything else. Finally, on the Sunday we were a little late getting out of the rooms - the front desk called my kids room and threaten to charge them with another bought if they were not out by 11:30 (btw check out was 11:00am, they called at 11:05am). You can be sure I will never be staying here again, nor will I recommend anyone else stay here either.

Parking was a brease. Easy off Qew to the hotel. We asked for a wake up call of 7 a.m. and did not get it. When I asked the girl she said I did not see that. Luckly we were awake by 7.15 a.m. Breakfast was good but warmer would have been nice.

We’ve been coming to this hotel when we need a place to stay all the time. This is the first year we recognize a lot of difference from previous days we had there. Firstly, the hotel still did not get any kind of renovations as I mentioned in the past it’s still very old looking and not up-to-date in the room or in the lobby or in the dining room. Secondly, the reason why we loved staying here it’s because of the great hot meals breakfast every morning BUT this time it wasn’t great at all. It’s not the same chef because I know I spoke to that chef years ago in person and she was phenomenal and I think she has opened up her own business up north and good for her. But whoever took over the kitchen for breakfast daily is not up to par. We were disappointed it was the same food every day and it wasn’t appetizing like before. I’m pretty easy-going with things but this time I’m quite disappointed at my stay at this hotel, which was a four star to me in the past and now I gave it a two star because it doesn’t have that reading. I think it should have. The price was good for the stay, but it needs major renovations and they need to change up the meals for breakfast every day or every two days because it gets sickening plus the eggs scrambled eggs sorry is very dry Not the same chef. I can see the one that has a younger caterer chef the eggs scrambled is very dry. But the African or Jamaican women, she was good and friendly. The others were not friendly at all. I have to say.
