I stayed at Hotel Veneto Firenze for 3 nights, and unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. The building is very old and poorly maintained — our room looked more like a converted storage space than a proper guest room. The walls and doors had no sound insulation at all; we could hear people talking in the hallway as if they were inside our room. The Wi-Fi didn’t work for the first two days, and when it finally did, the connection was unstable. The “hot” water in the shower was only lukewarm, which made showers uncomfortable. However, I want to give full credit to the night shift manager, Nawaz. He was absolutely exceptional — professional, kind, and went above and beyond to help us with every issue. He was the only positive part of our stay and truly deserves recognition. Overall, I appreciate the staff’s efforts, especially Nawaz, but the hotel itself needs major upgrades before I could recommend it.

Unfortunately would not stay here again nor recommend, although the staff were lovely. Our room had no hot water for shower … one small drop of mild water was all that would come out. Bed was 2 single beds pushed together , that did not stay together & made for an uncomfortable sleep. Location & staff were great. Just the amenities in room that were well below average.

We ended up leaving and not staying.The pictures do not match what this hotel is. It had a a horrible smell. The furniture was old and dirty. The bathroom was a closet with mold.

The neighbors next door were slamming doors at night . Someone was knocking on our hotel room door , it was a loud hallway overall . Walls are paper thin you can hear every conversation in the room next door . Shower head did not work . No phone in a room to call reception . Lots of stairs ( like a maze ). No extra blankets .AC took about 6 hours to cool the room .

Decent Location-below average amenities/condition

Stayed for three nights. First morning went to breakfast but nearly everything was all gone so we went and bought breakfast somewhere else. Tried again day two and breakfast was just grocery store items removed from containers and placed in hotel containers. Skipped it third day and went to a bar for breakfast. We had no working Wi-Fi the entire stay, had a couch in center of room that felt wet and was incredibly old and worn that I didn’t want to sit on it. Showered in day one and the 18x18 inch shower clogged up in two mins and took five mins to drain. Had a two min shower and didn’t shower again. Brought issue up and it was not fixed our remaining two days. Had four persons staying there so expected actual amenities in bathroom. We bought our own toilet paper bc provided toilet paper was tougher than recycled napkins at McDonald’s and only shampoo provided were tiny salad dressing styled plastic bags that were very faded indicating they had been in the dish for a long time. Paying 165$ a night should get you proper containers of shampoo conditioner and body wash in my opinion, proper toilet paper and furniture in main room under 35 years old. I have traveled all over Europe and know that many hotels are not five star American standard but this was not what I was lead to believe it would be by the hotels.com reviews. Bed was comfortable enough and check in went quickly.

Creo que el título sería la casa del terror, las habitaciones no se parecen en nada a las fotos, tenía zancudos y moscas, el baño no entraban dos personas y lo peor de todo el aire acondicionado solo funcionaba de 2:30 pm a 9 am y era tan pobre que creo que con ese aire no apagabas ni un fósforo , en conclusión el peor hotel de mi vida, según ellos 3 estrellas y excelentes comentarios, realmente no se porque este hotel sigue en la plataforma de información, para mí una estafa

En la recepción fotocopiaron los pasaportes de toda mi familia aunque no era necesario aunque les solicite que sólo fotocopiaran el de quien reservó la habitación , ignoraron la petición y se quedaron con las copias .

최악의 지옥을 경험하다.

첫날 체크인 데스크에 두남자의 상태를 보고 호텔상태를 읽을수 있었다. 화장실은 비행기 기내처럼 좁고 수압은 낮고 창문으로는 창고물건이 보관되어 있어 열수 없었고 고객 VOC는 완전히 무시되었습니다. 수십년간의 가족여행 경험자로서 최악의 지옥을 경험 하였습니다. 하우스키핑도 2일마다 하는 호텔은 처음입니다. 근데 도시세는 3성급호텔에 6유로를 받습니다. 피렌체시 행정은 제대로 작동하고 있는지 의문입니다.

Sin un buen y lindo baño, lo demás queda de menos

Un lugar central, busca una linda decoración acorde con la época de un edificio antiguo. El servicio y amabilidad excelente, dieron la posibilidad de dejar nuestro equipaje guardado después del check out lo que es muy útil. De lo a considerar , al ser edificio antiguo no es apto para tercera edad, escalera empinada y alta, tampoco para equipaje muy pesado o muchos. El aire acondicionado no dio abasto para el calor. El desayuno no era tan buena calidad considerando que en Italia la pastelería y el café son excelentes. Y definitivamente lo negativo fue el baño: recipiente ducha roto y desnivelado, tapado el desague, limpieza muy regular, habían hongos. Las perchas para toallas algunas caídas, el secador de pelo se cayó de un tornillo flojo, no hay una repisa donde colocar algo, mal pintado. Mucho por mejorar en el baño,

Rapport qualité-prix pas au rendez-vous

Les points positifs de cet hebergement : la gentillesse du réceptionniste, le lieu a proximité du coeur historique de Florence, la taille de la chambre et la clim. Les moins : chambre au deuxième étage, escalier etroit et pentu à deconseiller à des personnes ayant des difficultes à se deplacer; sur l'annonce, il est annoncé : menage quotidien : en réalité, seul le sac de la poubelle de la salle de bain est changé (lit non fait, bouteille des anciens occupants sous le lit); odeurs de moisi et joints de salle de bain moisis, lunette des wc qui bouge, robinet du bidet mal fixé, chasse d'eau des WC qui disfonctionne...tous ces moins renvoient au fait que le rapport qualité-prix, même à Florence en juillet, n'est pas au rendez-vous.

Do not book this hotel

This Hotel was so bad! Our room was very tiny and dirty. The shower curtains had brown stains all over it, the room and bathroom was dirty and there was stains on the bedding. Both the shower curtains and the toilet brush looked like it was 10 years old, so nasty! We told the reception about this and they said they will clean again, but didn’t. We got a new room the 3rd day, the standard of this room was better and bigger but OK. The breakfast was really bad, we ate other places the rest of the days. We will not recommend this place.

Extremely small bathroom but might return…

Our only issue with the stay was that the shower was extremely small. My husband and I are both average/small size people and the shower in our particular room was too small. We had to choose between letting the shower curtain touch us while we showered (separately, because like I said it was really small) OR let it guide the water out onto the rest of the also small bathroom. Thankfully they had a good amount of towels and they replaced them the following morning without needing to request it. Then again, the staff were so kind and friendly that I’m sure it wouldn’t have been an issue if we needed to ask. We can’t speak on breakfast since we had plans that caused us to leave earlier than breakfast time. The bed was decent. No drawers. The table was extremely small so we had to keep unpacking our bags on the bed whenever we needed something. I wouldn’t recommend the room we stayed in for longer than 3 days, but we did like this location and would consider returning to stay here again in the future.
