I stayed at Hotel Veneto Firenze for 3 nights, and unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. The building is very old and poorly maintained — our room looked more like a converted storage space than a proper guest room. The walls and doors had no sound insulation at all; we could hear people talking in the hallway as if they were inside our room.
The Wi-Fi didn’t work for the first two days, and when it finally did, the connection was unstable. The “hot” water in the shower was only lukewarm, which made showers uncomfortable.
However, I want to give full credit to the night shift manager, Nawaz. He was absolutely exceptional — professional, kind, and went above and beyond to help us with every issue. He was the only positive part of our stay and truly deserves recognition.
Overall, I appreciate the staff’s efforts, especially Nawaz, but the hotel itself needs major upgrades before I could recommend it.
