Okish place for lower budget and private bathroom

In general it’s a good place to stay for lower budget. The location is pretty good and close to many tourist attractions and main metro stations. The area was not too busy therefore no unpleasant noise from the streets. However the sound isolation of the room is very bad that at night and very early in the morning I was woken by people going up and downstairs

Well positioned hostal

This is an on suite room, a twin bedded in our case. There is a concierge from 12 noon to 6pm. Other than that the hostal is unmanned. It is just inside the historic old town so very close to all the main attractions as well as restaurants bars and cafes. The room was basic but had everything you require for a good night's sleep

I really liked the area and how close it was to the historic center. The hostel and the staff were really nice. Just keep in mind that there’s stairs and no elevator. Overall, it was a great experience and a good place to stay in Porto.

Perfect location

Perfect location, clean and comfy. The only thing - whitch is essential - is that someone opens the door when you arrive. No response on nor the door bell or the telephone number by the door for check-in (at 8:30 pm). When we eventually succeded entering the building, after 20 minutes and several attempts, we could start our stay in this beautiful city. From that moment everything was just amazing, but be aware of noise outside at night. That’s probably the price for staying in the centre of everything. Bring earplugs👌 All in all a great experience.

I would happily stay here again.

This guest house is very simple. It has a beautiful stair case and no elevator. It's central location in the city is excellent, but obviously there can be noisy people in the streets and city noise. There are several coffee and breakfast places within a 5 minute walk. The beds were more comfortable than usual. The shower had hot water. For the price I paid, I was satisfied.
