Very nice hotel, very nice and friendly. The only issue I have is they are not really set up for people with disabilities. Beds are high, no button that opens the door when you come into the hotel, which makes it very hard on a person sitting in a wheelchair to enter. They would not be able to enjoy the breakfast they offer unless the hotel staff did it for them, because the counters are to high.

When we walk in the bathroom at dirt on the floors, there marks on the toilet seat the towel smell like they haven’t been completely washed. The pillowcases had dirt on them just a dirty rundown place things were falling off the ceiling in the showerhead was coming out of the wall one out of 10 I do not recommend.

The room was just OK. The TV did not have HD channels. We watched a football game and the quality of the reception was poor. It was hard to tell 9's from 3's. There was no guide either on paper or electronically to tell what channels were available. The 2 young ladies at the front desk were very kind and helpful.

Clean, comfortable, friendly, and unpretentious

Our stay at the Rutledge Inn was excellent. The night manager was helpful and courteous, and she assisted me efficiently. The room was very clean and comfortable. (Great hot water in the shower!) The breakfast selection was modest, but fresh. The hotel itself was very quiet when we visited, and the lobby was inviting. While the decor was dated, the pool was being renovated, and the room phone didn’t work, we had no complaints. The staff worked hard to provide a nice stay. It was friendly service and a clean, comfortable room at a fair price, and we couldn’t ask for more!

Glad we stayed here

The hotel seemed quiet and safe and fairly clean. It was near a sweet little town on our path. It was a good deal. The breakfast was ALL carbs and sugar. That was disappointing, but we are still glad we stayed here.

For the price of the hotel, it's really hard to beat! We've stayed here before and always been very pleased. Now I'm going to say this, it's certainly not a Hilton, but you are only paying a small percentage of what a Hilton room would cost. The breakfast isn't anything amazing, but it's enough to get you going into your day.
