Would definitely go back, but some issues

First the good! The bellhops Amazing! The entertainment group are great, Tania was amazing at the rifle shooting and casino night, Fernando is the BEST waiter of all! All of the activities are fun and well put together. The bartenders keeps the drink coming and they are mixed well. The room was comfortable and clean with the BEST a/c ever! Rodeo is the best restaurant with big DELICIOUS portions! The wildlife is so COOL, caoti, raccoons, iguanas, and 2 cute black cats! Now the not so good. The lobby staff is not great, when you arrive there are 3 staff but only 2 are helping. We did an off site excursion and were told we would get box lunches, due to our leave time the Buffett is not open early, we spoke to the concierge he wrote down 4 boxes at 6:00 am, we got up went to the lobby to get are boxes and the not so kind check in person told us we don’t have them you should have gotten a ticket. We spoke to 3 people the day before about getting the lunches and not 1 person told us about a ticket. The food is not great, and food is not readily available during the day. The Buffett is open all day but you can only get food food during the designated times, the have a “snack time” but it was just hamburger, hot dogs and fries. I would like to be able to have fruit at snack time. Also the activities are fun but it is hard to find out where they are located, and some you have to sign up in advance but it’s not written anywhere.

Highly recommend with minor service tweaks

Overall Experience: We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it. The food and beverages met our expectations, we really enjoyed them. We also appreciated that most of the dining restaurants didn’t require reservations, which made things more convenient. Vibe: The resort offers the best of both worlds, you can enjoy a quiet, relaxing atmosphere or a more dynamic, lively experience, all within the same property. Area for Improvement: Customer-oriented service could be enhanced. ie, bartenders seemed hesitant to offer drink suggestions or engage with guest questions, and hosts at dinning restaurants could be more welcoming for a better service experience. Special Shout-Out: Kudos to the bellboys and the spa team for their outstanding service!

Everything was great! Id definitely stay there again. The only thing that was disappointing was the beach. There was a storm a few days before our arrival and made the beach have ALOT of seaweed therefore making the beach smell gross and unsuitable to swim. Other then that. It was great.

The hotel was beautiful! Great decor and ambiance. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The food was amazing in all restaurants including the buffet. Shot out to the entertainment crew for always keeping us entertained in the pool and also with the evening shows. The gentleman in the bellhop Cristian and Enrique were awesome throughout our entire stay. Always greeting us and making great suggestions!!

I was truly disappointed with my stay. I came for a friends wedding and the beach smelled worse than you can imagine. Literally stepped off of the shuttle dropping us off at the resort and even from the lobby the smell was outrageous. The main individual organizing the weddings genuinely one of the most rude individuals I have ever met. A wedding is meant to be such a special day and we flew in to DJ the wedding specially for this couple and the wedding planner named

The resort food was surprisingly great! Everything was clean and we felt comfortable during our stay. Everyone was very kind as well. We did wish that we knew about all of the seaweed and probably should have researched more information prior. We also appreciated the cheap shuttle to Playa del Carmen and the ease of that transportation. I even accidently lost my phone- it fell under my pool chair instead of going into my bag and the workers kindly kept it and returned it no issues.

At first i thought it was fine. Staff seemed nice and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I was travelling alone but meeting up with friends who were staying in an AirBnB in PDC. So on my third of four nights, one of them decided to stay with me. I had thought that I could add him to my reservation without a ton of issue. Neither of us were trying to "sneak in" or do anything of the sort! However, upon getting to the security at the front, we were treated like TOTAL CRIMINALS. Past that, we were extremely upfront about my name, my room number, that we was my guest and we were headed STRAIGHT to the lobby to get him signed in and added. I never expected to not be charged, nor did he. BUT WOW, I mean the hoops they put us through when trying to legitimately add him to my room. You would think that we had done something, anything, to give the impression that we had some sort of plan to rip off the hotel. The second night they made him check out and check back in again when I'd clearly stated when we got there that I was adding him for TWO nights. For the second night, they tried to hold his passport!! That's when I'd had enough and I guess my $530 for literally a day and a half was not sufficient. It's not just that they have their rules, I have stayed at many many all inclusives and I get that every guest needs to be paying to be there. It was the way we were being treated like TOTAL CRIMINALS that was just so disgusting and unwarranted!

Nice property, the music at the main pool wasn’t diverse. The entertainment team was good I expected more I guess. The staff not all weren’t the friendliest, I felt bothersome sometimes when asking for help. I don’t plan on returning.
