You sure can relax here

Ames is a quiet place, you sure can have a relaxation trip here. There are not much shops around, if you know how to ride a motorbike is much more convenient to travel around. The food in the hotel is good, you can join the gym at Griya which is free of charge! But you need to solve the transportation since the shuttle bus is not always available. The staff are helpful and friendly. We do enjoy the trip very much.

Staff were wonderful. Charming, old style hotel. Beautiful grounds and perfectly situated. Rooms very tired despite the rustic charm and bathrooms need a desperate clean. Sink and shower didn’t drain. Mosquitos immensely bad and bed nets full of holes. Understandable that mosquitos are abundant but other hotels seem to manage. Still, grateful for a quiet, pleasant stay and the generous, kind staff.

Personal wer sehr freundlich. Sauberkeit im Zimmer könnte besser sein. Das Bett hat sehr muffig und alt gerochen. Das Kissen war unglaublich hart. Moskito Netz ging gar nicht richtig zu und es waren sehr viele Moskitos im Zimmer, da die Türen nicht dicht waren. Frühstück war a la carte und lecker. Pool war klein, aber ausreichend, da es nicht voll war. Lage direkt am Meer - zum Schnorcheln super. Equipment kann man direkt im Hotel ausleihen. Die Lage ist nicht so sonderlich schön. Zu Fuß ist eh alles sehr unpraktisch, weil es keinen Fußgängerweg gibt und die Straßen sehr eng und kaputt sind.

Our room was located at the back of the property, close to the road. There was a lot of traffic noise at night and then early morning, and while outside the control of the hotel, there was road work construction during the day which meant relaxing in the room wasn’t possible. I feel that it should be communicated when booking at the sea view cottage. The room was clean and the staff extremely helpful and friendly.

Wir hatten eine gute Zeit im Santai Hotel. Die Bungalows sind nicht im absoluten Top-Zustand, aber es ist in Ordnung. Für ein paar Nächte zu empfehlen, meiner Meinung nach ist das Personal und die Lage das beste an dem Hotel!

The staff are very kind and nice. They try their best to accommodate the guests. The breakfast is very generous. They bring a tray of coffee and tee to your balcony early in the morning. These are the only things I liked about this place. It is way over prices for what you get. The main issue is cleanliness, on the first look, it seems clean but not really, everything is run over like the cushions on the balcony are very dirty and stained. I would not sit on them. The room although huge needs serious cleaning. The sheets are old and a bit smelly. The out side shower is full with bugs especially at night, and the bugs find their way to the room. I could not leave anything open. The door does not really look so you do not feel secure. Add to all this the noise. No isolation. So could not sleep for 3 nights. The room is advertised as ocean view but you hardly can see the ocean. The WIFI does not work so you need your own Internet. The hotel is so far from the main places in Amed s you have to walk up and down hilly road with no side curb for almost 20 minutes in the heat. Grab does not really work in Amed. I had to ask them to organize a transport for me to Sanur, and the price was very high. I would not stay in this hotel again. The place have potential if the invest in some renovation and serious cleaning and dealing with infestations. One staff member will tend to the restaurant, make coffee and reception so you should wait for the poor soul to run around. I really loved the

Great hotel with an excellent staff. Really friendly and willing to help with everything you need. Do check the accurate services and prices of tours etc. at the front desk though, the information on the booklet in the cabins are outdated :).

Virkelig hyggeligt hotel ved stranden.

Et virkelig dejligt sted med direkte adgang til stranden. Husene er virkelig hyggelige og komfortable og med god plads. De halvåbne badeværelser er nydeligt indrettede og med kig til stjernerne. Husene ligger i en pæn beplantet have med en fin pool. Om morgenen serveres kaffe/the på egen terrasse kl 6, så man kan nyde solopgangen over havet. Personalet er meget venlige og hjælpsomme. Kan virkelig anbefales.

Ok hotel that needs a little bit love

This hotel has seen it’s best days and needs a little bit love. Staff is nice but unfortunately the bungalows are worn down. They should be fixed and cleaned properly. Probably covid has effected the hotel :/ It can be seen that the hotel has previously been romantic and harmonic. We had much cheaper and better hotels during our holiday in Bali but this one has potential also if it was renovated and cleaned. Amed is small and not so crouded place. Nice little get away. There are good snorkling points nearby. The restaurant menu should be shortened and food should be made with fresh ingredients. Local meals were the best in this restaurant. From hotel you can order great taxi driver (Robby) for day trips.

The location of the property is great! We had the ocean view bungalow which was nice to see the ocean and hear the waves. The only downside is the pool is right in front of the bungalow so we heard the guests that were hanging out by the pool.
