We left it late to book a hotel in Langkawi and we couldn't get in to any of usual hotels but managed to get a room at the Penarak Bamboo beach resort. When we went in the room it was spacious and very clean but when we opened the back door the view was spectacular. It's a very laid back place, the staff are friendly I ended up booking for another week. It's such a relaxing place, I would definitely go back

Clean rooms, rent scooters for RM 45 per day. Clean room upon request. Officr only open 9am-6pm. Very far away from tourist areas. Car or scooter will be required.

Location and view is amazing, but the rooms and the property in general really needs to be renovated and beautified; it has so much potential due to the location and view, it’s disappointing when you get there and you see the state of the motel and the rooms In addition I don’t think it’s fair to offer an “upgrade” to get the room that I have already paid for instead of a bad one

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room has a large bed with a quality mattress, abundant hot water with a high flow, coffee offered every day with two glasses of water. There is a nice view of the lagoon with a small perch village in the middle of the sea and some boats anchored next door. The bad points of this hotel: I stayed 7 days in this one near the pool in the overwater part. A very strong smell of tidal enough disgusting impregnated my room at low tide. The air condition broke down every day and I stayed two days in this one. I had only 6 hours of wifi on 7 days which forced me to check my computer at the reception of the hotel. Sometimes very noisy children bathed while dressed in the pool which is not very hygienic for customers who bathe in a swimsuit. Lots of cigarette butts around the pool near the tables and chairs. No TV channel was working properly. The city is about 3/4 kilometers from the hotel. It is therefore better to motorize to get to the restaurant. Despite all these inconvients I like this hotel and this city very nice and clean.

En seng at sove i og ikke meget andet.

Helt ok værelse med AC og køleskab. Pool ok, men lå på en parkeringsplads og var uden liggestole eller nogen form for skygge, så var i realiteten ikke brugbar. Der var heller ingen brugbar strand. Værst af alt var at man ikke kunne få mad på stedet eller i miles afstand. Man skal derfor leje bil, hvis man vil bo der.

Good place but need improvement.

Stayed in standard room for 4D3N in Nov 2017. 1. The terrace room was quite new and spacious for its price. (RM79/night). 2. The free in-room wifi didn't work most of the time. 3. Bath water heater didn't work well. Only slightly lukewarm water at max setting. Water pressure was good. 4. No room cleaning service during the whole 4D3N stay. 5. This place is sea-fronted but no "beach". 6. Swimming pool is small size but clean. 7. This place is quite spacious. Not crammed like places at Cenang Beach. I am able to park my car near my room. Plenty of parking space.
