Upon arrival we were given a room that felt fresh and clean but the heating didn’t work, the room we were moved to didn’t feel as fresh n clean but was still not too bad. I know the hotel can’t be responsible for noise but there were a lot of young (teens) making heaps of noise late Friday and Saturday night, we had an early flight Sunday so it was a bit unfair. We told the receptionist at checkout, she said we should have notified them sooner. We understand the establishment isn’t responsible for other people’s behaviour.

Good location very near downtown and they have a complimentary shuttle service for the airport or ferry terminal! This property is a GREAT VALUE if you don't want to pay for premium lodging. The suites have a full kitchen and laundry in the room which was super convenient. The walk to a grocery store is only about 10 minutes. Tip: If you stay here be sure to walk to the waterfront park with the wonderful whale sculpture and fountain. It has amazing water views and is only 1/2 a block away. We stayed here and didn't need to rent a car. Note this is not a luxury property, the furnishings are basic but comfortable, there is a lot of room, and everything was very clean. Service was spot on, quick to check me in and out.
The park is only1/2 block away and they have these great totems and the whale sculpture plus great views of the water.

I love this sculpture. The hotel can be seen in the background, it is the dark red building to the right of the light blue building.
Water sprays onto and out of the whale at random intervals. I had to wait about 30 minutes to see the show but it was totally worth waiting to see.

We were in a unit with full kitchen, separate bedroom, washer and dryer. It was quiet and had a good bed. I am alergic to dustmites and expect to suffer in beds used for commmercial purpose. This was the first hotel i can remember that did not trigger my allergies. The staff was personable and provided suggestions about ammenities in the neighborhood.

Called down to the front desk for a plunger... was told "let me look for one" called back 15 minutes later after hearing nothing and was told to come get it from the front desk...Not anything to ruin my stay but how is that customer service?

I liked the room having a kitchen and laundry. We saved money by cooking our own meals and doing our own laundry. It was within walkable distance of town. I loved the little park with the whale statue and the boardwalk path. Staff was friendly and would get us extra supplies as needed. There was free transportation to the airport. It was a very comfortable stay!

Not a great hotel

It was quite hot when I arrived and the ceiling fans were on but a small free standing fan in the bedroom didn’t work at all. Lots of broken slats on the blinds and quite a few of the outlets didn’t work at all. Seemed a bit underwhelming for the cost.

The hotel is right on a small board walk that is really nice to stroll down day and night. It's also close enough for any able-bodied person to walk into the cruise consumer area for tons of shopping and eating.

Right at the base of the mountain in town

It all started with exceptional service from Jeremy. Sent the airport shuttle to us in 5 minutes to bring us to the hotel, snappy check in and were set. The property is right on the edge of town, with a grocery store across the street. Can do the easy sidewalk to town, but the bay sidewalk along side the water much prettier. Once inside, room much much larger than ever expected and fully equipped with snow capped mountain views. Spotless.

This was a great base for our Juneau vacation. We loved the kitchen and living room space - it was a comfortable place for hanging out when we weren’t sleeping. There is noise from cars outside, especially when the windows were open to help keep the room cool - but I would stay here again for sure! The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and it was an easy 10 minute walk into downtown Juneau. We loved our stay here!!
