Nice small boutique hotel. Very nice staff. A short walk to to center and the old harbour where we liked best to eat. Also short walk to the Beach Club. Some noise from the street. But over alla very nice place. The staff was exceptional service and friendliness.

Amazing experience. Great apartment. Perfect location. The hosts were helpful and friendly. The pool is fantastic. Good to know that there are quiet times between 2-5pm when you can’t use the pool to give guests an opportunity to have some serenity. Works really well. Not far to the old port which is worth the walk. Lovely beach close by. We will return!

A really great place with Fantastic service.

Animal lovers should not waste food as the cats come out at night looking for food. They are mostly scared of us, some are more daring. I made sure that they all was given a little something on my walk home. Fell in love with a more domesticated stray and never new how it ended up like that. I bought a bag of whiskers for just 2 euro at a plant and animal shop but also they would eat any leftovers including chips. They are so hungry they were seen in a piece of land with chickens ducks and geese pinching the feed. Some shops on the way to the old port selling breads and another little supermarket for meats cheese veg etc and a few other shops. I found New Port Town which was bigger and had more shops and restaurants, but still quaint and picturesque is a longer walk. If you are fairly fit it can be done easily. As an ''oldie'' with back problems I did manage the walk there once but tired me, so we got a horse and carriage ride back. They are the same price as a taxi. We expected to pay more so was pleasantly surprised and never bothered afterwards with Taxis. Taxis are quite expensive around 10euro for a short journey. The buses are cheap but run once mid morning around 11am and again approx. 5pm. However most who can, will be able to hire bikes, manual, small engine, motorbike or quad bikes. Most people young and old seems to do this.

Superbe hôtel dans un coin tranquille de l’ile, proche d’une crique magnifique. Les hôtes sont charmants et très accueillants. Super séjour avec bébé de 7 mois, qui est devenue la mascotte du séjour. Merci à Maria et Yannis pour ce fabuleux séjour.

A bit of a gem!

Very lovely setting removed from the busy port. The units are quiet and well setup, including kitchen facilities. Our hostess went out of her way to explain the area and accommodate some of our special needs. Very warmly welcomed. Couldn't ask for more!

Very beautiful, cleaned and fantastic property. Maria the owner is a wonderful women and a very good host! Unfortunately we Gad to leave two days earlier because of private matters, but it us highly recommended. It is better than a five star hotel.

Beautyfull small hotel

Beautyfull small Hotel with a nice pool. Friendly staff... the only downside was our room was located in the basement. This is maybe good in the summer when it is really hot. Not ideal in the spring when you would like to enjoy the sun!

highly recommended..feels like home

I had extra days in athens wanted to visit an island, but not an overcrowded touristy island, and i wanted something close! I found this place, the best decision was greated by the owner Maria, who was very welcoming, they gave my room (including a kitchen and a living room) has a beautiful pool its 10-15 min walk from the harbor super market close by bike rental shop next door highly recommended

Friendly hotel staff and beautiful outdoor area that is private with a pool and lots of greenery. The hotel is a scenic 20 minute walk from all the shops and restaurants at the port and easily accessible by taxi or horse drawn carriage. Our villa was sizeable and very nice with lots of privacy. Another great thing was the small binder in the room with information regarding taxis, things to do, and restaurants that deliver to the hotel. Breakfast was amazing and we really enjoyed our stay!

Well kept property

It's very well kept property, close to beach, however, we were given a very dark basement room - absolutely no views and air-conditioning broken - our room was in the back of the whole compound, next to kitchen (and I didn't book a cheapest room!!!). The villa was very quiet as we saw only few other customers, I really wondered why to give such a awfully located room. I guess our experience would have been different, if we were in any of the rooms in earth-level and where able to see something from the windows. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special. Also the villa is next to very busy road, so although the beach was close, you had to walk in narrow, but busy road. All the shops and restaurants were far and the taxi-drivers take 10 euros for 2 kilometers drive. Take care you ask a room with views!!!

Fun Experience

Nice place on a nice island. More of an apartment than an actual hotel, but the proprietor (Maria) was very nice and it is a short walk from the old harbor and not that far from the new harbor. Spetses is not over run by tourists, very quaint. Breakfast was nice and around the poolside. Need a taxi/horse drawn from the place where the boats come in.

Our stay at Villa Nika was brilliant. The location was fantastic - we were only a short walk away from the old harbour, which have the best restaurants in town. The local beach was great and only a few moments away. Maira was a fantastic host. The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. All homemade from their garden!
