Nice but old fashioned

Nice traditional hotel. Lovely staff. Decor would benefit from an update. Fixtures , fittings and furnishings need a refresh. Didn’t like having 2 single duvets on a double bed. Breakfast is good- cooked to order - the same offerings every day. Pool quiet and pleasant but lacks changing facilities.

Room was big but basic, room not cleaned on first day. Staff said they would com back later as we had been swimming and were getting changed, but never did, so no milk for morning brew. Pool was dirty and dangerous, few steps in and then a steep slippy slope with no warning, sides also had steep slopes in the water. Staff on desk were never there long wait for them to appear. Small steps everywhere, need some warning on them. Breakfast was tasty and staff here were lovely

The hotel was excellent, as were the flights to from the Uk to Jersey, with Blue island flights. However the same could not be said for Expedia, we booked and paid for a package, including the flights and hotel. Within an hour Expedia came back to us saying the return flights were not available. We asked for a full refund but Expedia would only refund us for the return flight?? We booked return flight with Blue island ourselve (plane was only half full) we will not use Expedia again.

The location and surrounding is beautiful however to go to the next level the facilities are ok. Reception staff and extremely helpful and helpful and dining staff during evening services were ok but struggled when at full capacity but always polite and friendly

My first time in this hotel in Jersey, the hotel, staff and room were all very good, the inclusion of a pool and adequate gym suited me for the 7 nights I was there. The weather was very warm and the garden space to relax was also a good addition. Breakfast was good and all the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Recommended.

Very nice hotel with friendly attentive staff, restaurant offers wide choice of evening meals, all delicious and delightfully served. Pretty gardens and good indoor swimming pool. There is no lift so just something to bear in mind if climbing is a problem as there are 3 floors though the rooms are clean and well appointed. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is a lovely place to stay. The rooms are clean and spacious and the all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The bus stop going into St Helier is right outside. The included breakfast is good too. Only gripe is the shower took a long time before any hot water arrived. Maybe that was just my room though. Altogether excellent.

We really enjoyed ourselves here. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful, providing good service. The rooms were clean and comfortable. As with other hotels in Jersey, the parking area is fairly tight for a large vehicle but equal to or better than the others I have experienced. Jersey as a whole was not designed for large vehicles. There is a convenient bus stop just outside the hotel with a regular service. The garden was a great place for a coffee, very peaceful. This will certainly be our hotel of choice if/when we return to Jersey.

Was recommended this place by friends that live on the island and didn’t disappoint. Perfect spot for getting around the island. Staff were very friendly. The swimming pool was great for the kids when the weather wasn’t great. Room was massive for the 3 of us. Breakfast was great.
