Great location and super helpful host Jin who went out of her way to ease our trip. The hill leading to the guesthouse is pretty manageable unless you are carrying heavy luggage. The building is older and there are some signs of gentle wear and tear, but Jin made a great effort to make it comfortable, and it provides excellent value given the price, location, and amount of space for our family of 4. I would stay here again on my next trip.

Guest house is about 10-15mins walkable form Hongik station exit 9 but have to make sure u can climb the very steep hill road to reach the guest house. With heavy and big luggage will be more difficult. But the host kind enough to offer pick up at Hongik subway station.

There was a lovely rooftop where I drank my coffee every morning. Coffee and simple breakfast foods were provided, as was a cold and hot water dispenser, which is important in a city where it isn't a good idea to drink the tap water. Upstairs was not so much as described or pictured, but overall we appreciated our room and it was about as expected for the pricing tier and Asian lodging in general.
