Perfect stay

The whole stay from start to finish was perfect Alot of thought has gone into the decor and the comfort of the clients ,room was very spacious and clean ,Owners were really chatty and friendly,amazing breakfast choice too . Rooms were quiet with hardly any outside noise due to new windows ,lovely views and close to Betw-y-coed. Lovely walk by the river just over the road ,highly recommended.

Over night stay

We stayed overnight to visit the area and climb Snowdon. The accommodation was spotless and Jeanette made us feel so welcome. The breakfast was incredible, lots of choice and everyone catered for. The room was so comfortable and beautifully furnished, lovely attention to detail and a really comfortable bed. Amazing location too. Thank you!

Our host was absolutely fabulous! We would all love to stay here again! Service could not have been better! Our room had 2 bedrooms which were decorated so cute! You could go walking right across the road to a bridge and waterfall. Very lovely place! It was the nicest B&B around; you could tell! We will definitely book again if we are ever in this area again!

Had a fantastic weekend stay at oakfield house bnb , this worked as the perfect place to stay for my snowdon climb. Jeanette and Steve are wonderful hosts, the place felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend for a great stay in area.

A wonderful stay. We were only in town for 1 night to climb Tryfan the next morning. Jeanette and Steve were wonderful hosts, advising where to eat when we arrived late, and fuelling us up with the best choice of breakfast’s in a very long time. Place was spotless and very comfortable and will be back for the next trip to the valley for more scrambles.

Where do I start!! 6* plus.. Unbelievably thoughtful, kind,funny owners. From the moment we got out of our car to the (sad) moment we left, we were made to feel like family. Our one-night stay at Oakfield B&B was lovely! Despite the short duration, we had a fantastic time. The welcoming atmosphere, comfortable room, and delicious breakfast made our stay very enjoyable. The hospitality shown by Jeanette and Steve was great. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was plentiful and there was ample parking. The walk into the town was around 10/15 minutes and the bus stop to Pen-Y-Pass car park for the Pyg/Miners track was literally just outside the door - £7 each return. Overall a great B&B and will definitely return in the near future. Lee

We absolutely loved Oakfield House. Jeanette and Steve were very helpful, and we loved chatting with them. The house is charmingly old but the rooms have all the modern amenities. Location is great. Right across the street from several hiking trails, including one that heads into the village. Breakfast was great too!

Warm and welcoming. Rooms are well appointed and comfortable with thoughtful attention to detail. Ensuites spacious with efficient showers and a really good supply of bathroom accessories. Excellent breakfast. Within reasonable walking distance of eateries for evening meals. Jeanette and Steve friendly and helpful. Would certainly be first port of call if we visit North Wales again.

Excellent stay, superb hosts!

Excellent stay all round, couldn't fault it! Jeanette and Steve were superb hosts and their attention to detail was second to none. All facilities you need were present and everything had been well thought out. Breakfast was a treat and set us up for the day with an excellent selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurt as well as superbly cooked choice of hot food. We will definitely be back!
