A solid option for access to Death Valley
This is an older motel, but it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Its an wasy walk to food option. Highly recommed the Totem pole for a solid tasty meal. Theres a supermarket as well, and a laundromat in town.

Road Side Stop
This is an older hotel, but it's clean and the people who run it are nice. The parking lot is very tight, though, if you have a larger vehicle.

Ok for a night
Very old hotel, small parking on premises. Clean as can be for such an old hotel, wash the chairs for God sakes, material was filthy. Noisy refrigerator, kept my wife up half the night. But a great little town to stay in!

OK stay for cleaning up after a hike
The desk staff was friendly. The room was very small but appeared clean. Outside was clean enough but needs attention to signage & bottom of peeling pool. Sheets were unusual (dark blue microfiber with flowers).
OK for one night stay or if you just need a place to clean up after a long hike. There were toiletries, blow dryer, & a coffee maker in room.
Appeared staff was doing the best they could with what they had to work with.
