Rooms are small but had what we needed. It is easy to hear others in their rooms, but most are there for the outdoors, so it was quiet after 9 pm. The optional breakfast buffet for 16 CF was quite good with a worker there keeping everything refilled and clean. There was an open kitchen downstairs for anyone staying to use. It was well equipped and had an eating area.
Of note: they are serious about NO food in the rooms. Not even tea!! There must have been problems to have such serious rules. I did have tea without issue, but I took my teacup back to the kitchen as instructed.
This hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the train, but taxis are available.
Zermatt does not allow cars, so expect to walk, and dodge out of the way of fast bikes and electric taxis.
