Check-in was efficient. Room looked a bit worn and dated. Not much attention to detail. Carpet had not been vacuumed and was only done a couple days later when I requested it to be done, despite the fact I had the room serviced twice before my request.
The tea and coffee was not replenished daily, thankfully LuLu Hypermarket a short walk away meant I could buy my own. A bath towel was taken from the room despite me leaving it hanging not to be changed and this too was not replaced.
Carpets in the corridor on the floor my room was on did not look like it had been vacuumed for a while, small bits of dirt evident.
I did not use the cafe or room service, so can not comment on them.
There is a convenient bus service, the bus stop five minutes walk by the AD NOC petrol station ( on the right as you exit the hotel). For travel to Dubai take the bus to Union or Deira City Centre and you can hop onto the Dubai metro train at either point.
I have stayed at other Ibis locations in Dubai and the housekeeping in these has been good. Shame this hotel is not to equivalent standard.
