I had a really lovely stay at Holiday Inn IHG. I often choose Holiday Inn for my vacations because it is a perfect way to escape the busy life in London and truly relax. The room was very comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the service throughout my stay was excellent. The receptionists were especially welcoming and helpful, a special mention to the receptionist at Holiday Inn Southend on Sea, who made check-in such a pleasant experience. The only small suggestion I would make is regarding breakfast time. It would be even better if breakfast could be extended until 11am, as when we’re on holiday we like to sleep in a bit later and take things slowly. Overall, I am very happy with my stay and would definitely recommend Holiday Inn for a relaxing getaway.

The carpet in the room was covered in dirty patches, there was a large gap in the skirting board. No hook in the bathroom to hang your towel and the bath mat had stains on it.(yellow!) The beds were not comfortable, they were lumpy. The breakfast was food that had been left a while and there were not many pastries left. Car park is very expensive now.
