My stay was okay, but this hotel is nowhere near a 5-star standard.
While we were upgraded to a bigger room, the hotel has too many issues to justify its rating or pricing. The first thing I noticed was holes in the towels, something you would never expect at a so-called 5-star property.
On the first night, there was brown water, followed by no water at all for about four hours, which is completely unacceptable.
I also had an unpleasant experience with staff attempting to charge me for a broken water bottle in the minibar, which was not caused by me. This felt unprofessional and uncomfortable.
Room service was extremely overpriced, lacked flavor, and was overall tasteless. The food was delivered wrapped in aluminum foil, which is not what you expect from 5-star room service.
The room itself was missing basic amenities no coffee machine, only cheap instant coffee, and the bathroom had no soap or shampoo at all as the dispensers were empty.
Overall, while the stay was manageable, this hotel does not meet 5-star expectations in service, amenities, or attention to detail. Very disappointing for the category it claims to be in.
