Rejuvenating place to stay

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. My room was vertical comfortable with a huge bed and a lovely shower and lots of space to put things. The spa was wonderful I spent a couple of hours using the pool, sauna and steam room and felt very refreshed.

Leuk hotel in een oud huis. Erg comfortabel met fijn binnen zwembad en heerlijke ligstoelen in de tuin. Zeer goed ontbijt en goed restaurant. In dorp zelf niets te bekeven, Tomar ligt dichtbij en is zeker een bezoek waard. Wel storend dat wij bij een wat vroege aankomst een uur moesten wachtend voor we konden inchecken terwijl de kamer wel gereed was. We waren namelijk een van de weinige gasten op dat moment

Luxury, great service and value for money

This hotel is lovely - a delightful renovation of a historic homestead and is very luxurious. There is a spa complex with hot tub, pool, sauna etc - just the thing for after a hard days walking. Service very good. We were leaving at 5am and they were up to provide us a full breakfast, they insisted. Restaurant food very good, not amazing, but great value.

Nice old hotel

We stayed for two nights. Cons: We tried to use the spa facilities but the attendant did not know how turn on the showers - weird. The air conditioning was very warm so sleeping was uncomfortable. The internet did not reach the room very well. Pros: The male waiter (Luis?) was amazing and went to the ends of the earth to Get me a mango juice - thank you The rooms are nice and comfortable. The turkish bath was lovely and clean.
