Upon arrival I was not greeted by the front desk person. I received my key shortly thereafter. I had to bring up the question of where to park, it's advertised that there is free parking but it should be clarified to the guest. Once we got in the room there was an extreme odor of smoke in a NON-SMOKING hotel. The accent chair was absolutely disgusting, it had streaks of who knows what on the cushion. The chair should be burned! The bathroom had mold in the caulking & a stained shower curtain. There were cockroach body parts on the floor. I would not recommend this "remodeled" Days Inn as the keycard revealed.

This place is a dump. Worse, they're unscrupulous actors. Its a non-smoking facility. The place stunk of cigarette and pot smoke. We checked out after one night. They refused to give us a folio (the idiot clerk claimed he'd never heard of such a thing. When i explained that a folio or some kind of documentation was confirmation we stayed and were leaving. He said HE knew we left. As if that was supposed to be good enough for us. Seriously. And the reason to have a receipt would play out. ). Later the hotel wrote to Hotels.com that we had stayed both nights. A lie. A childish lie. (Yet one that the supervisor at Hotels.com, Marlon, repeated back to me as if it we so. Fact is, id had already called hotels.com to let them know we were leaving and to ask for a refund on the day) They also wrote that wed never asked for a smokeless room. At a smoke-free hotel. Seriously. The room we stayed in was the 2nd room, by the way. The first we were assigned was dirty enough we had to change upon check-in. They refused a refund l...including for the night we werent even in the building. Theives. Unethical. Unclean. The worst rating possible. claimed hed nvervr
Sticky substance on the floor upon check-in of first room. Lamps and outlets didn't work. No where to hang any clothes. Any. Hallway reeks of smoke. Its a "smoke-free" facility.

I was actually amazed by the comfort of this Gem. room was very spacious, huge TV, comfortable bed and cozy feeling -linens felt soft. Clean atmosphere.

Easy parking, ok air conditioning, ok staff, ok ckean, room services is only by request, never happened in 4 nights, the staff is friendly. No coffee machine in room.
