This hotel had eight stars on hotels.com. I’m not sure how it’s even on hotels.com?! I got there at 7 PM to check in and the computers were all shut off. The lady had to turn them on and didn’t know the passwords for the computers themselves. Once she got help and got the computer turned on she couldn’t figure out the software to book me in. She went and got help for that as well. 15 minutes later I’m still standing there. I gave her my credit card to pay and the credit card machine didn’t work. She asked me if I had cash. I did not. She gave me the room key so I could check in before going to get the money.So I left and went to an ATM machine and came back and gave her a cash payment. When I gave her the cash, she gave me a different room key and said the room she had given me had a heater that did not work. It’s 30° outside so that is important. So I went to the other room and the only lights that worked was the light over the door when you walk in and the light inside the bathroom. No lights inside of the actual room turned on, however, the heater did work. The bed mattress was maybe 4 inches thick and I’m not joking. In the morning when I went to take a shower, I pulled up knob to make the shower work and only about four streams of water came out of the showerhead. In fairness, the room was $50 so I wasn’t expecting much. I travel for a living and I stay in cheap hotels a lot, but this one was perhaps the worst room I have ever stayed in. Easy fixes, just lazy management.

Bang on what we expected. Nice location, very quiet. Looks straight out of the 1950s; shame the 50s wall-integrated radio was dead. That would have been a fun thing to have working! Main down-side was that the coffee machine in the room didn't work - nobody around to tell in the morning. Cheap and cheerful. Would stay again if passing through. However, it does seriously need a revamp - be warned. If you like a throw-back, this is nice. If you want a modern hotel room with mod-cons; then avoid.

We arrived late in the evening so didn't see properly the area of motel. The bedspread was stained and had cigarette burn hole. Mattress looked very old; however, it was comfortable given the sad state. Toiletries are on the cheap side. The bathroom is tiny and there was garbage behind the door and there were items left in the fridge by previous occupants. They need better cleaners. They need a major reno. Bathroom door is falling apart and caulking is a mess. There is a huge hole in the wall where the front door handle hits the wall. I think I will pay the extra money and go somewhere else next time. I don't know how they scored 8/10 on Expedia.ca.

Dump

Hotel is a dump. Corners in bathroom were black. Bathroom door was shredded at the bottom. There were no tissues in the room. There was no house phone in the room. Motel is one level, door to parking lot. They put us in a room with a derelict truck parked in front making access more difficult.

No-frills pleasant and clean

Just right for an overnight on our way to a family wedding. No-frills and clean,ñ and pleasant. Helpful staff at check-in. Quiet. I didn’t like the lumpy pillows, and wished I had brought my own.

Great Value for a short stay

5 stars for the value. We were comfortable. A/C and heater worked great. Plenty of hot water. We will likely stay again simply because of the price. Checkin was prompt and very friendly, and we love the fact that we can just back up right to our room door. Now...if not counting the value maybe 3 or 4 stars. Room was really not cleaned well...gum wrappers left on the headboard (pretty obvious) and some hair on the shower curtain. Office chair for the desk was broken and "almost" not useable. Bathroom is small and not a private area except for the shower and toilet. But again, we love the price and the convenience.

Not sure how it go it’s rating unless they fix it. Room was dirty, Soap from other night stay still in shower. Drain in tub didn’t drain. Nicotine dripping off wall in bathroom. Carpet very dirty. Only good thing was the bed was comfortable.

I have stayed here many times. It is convenient and reasonably priced. It is always clean, but I did notice it was looking a bit run down this time. Maybe some sprucing up?
