Very convenient right off the interstate. The kids loved having our little own cabin to stay in. It was nice to be able to cook too.

This cabin was a delightful surprise. Two sperate rooms, kitchen, bath, dining, three TV's, and the most comfortable mattresses. We booked late just the night before our arrival and the booking didn't show. We were going to have to check in late so we just stopped by the office and staff was so kind and promised to have our room ready. It was perfect! Thx so much!

8/10 Very good

Very spacious cabin. Everything you need for dining and cooking. The shower took a while to get hot water.

8/10 Very good

This place was really nice and had a lot to do there. Pool was nice, cabin was cute and perfect for a family of 5! Only downside was lots of wasps, wasps nests under the deck. My daughter got stung. And a few bugs in the cabin. But it was in the desert so it odd kind of a given for there to be some. Still a great stay.

8/10 Very good

We had a fun and mostly pleasant stay at Sun Outdoors — great location, comfy vibes, and a nice spot to unwind. That said, housekeeping may have taken a vacation of their own. We discovered a pair of dirty socks and a rogue toy truck hiding under one of the mattresses (bonus scavenger hunt, I guess?). Some of the beds werent made, which made check-in feel more like we were crashing someone else’s sleepover. And the grill? Let’s just say it had seen things — and probably cooked its last burger a few guests ago. With a little extra cleaning love, this place could be a total gem

The spot is adorable, cute, and cozy. It was overall good but there are a few things. The twin bed in the second bed didn’t have linen. The ac in that room was also not working well to cool it down. Although there isn’t a person after 5, communication was great. Mesquitos are also very bad so bring spray. I would stay again and make sure to stay early enough to use the amenities.

6/10 Good

Great concept but cleanliness was lacking. Bedding was stained and had something crusted on it. Dog hair all over the couch. Dog food under the bed. Limited dishes they provided weren’t very clean. Plan on doing your own cleaning. Based on other reviews we brought our own bedding and were glad we did. AC worked intermittently. Facilities and general area were nice just wish there had been more attention to pre-arrival cleaning.

2/10 Poor

A group of 4 college aged girls and I arrived to the property late at night around 11pm to find that they key given to us was the wrong one. Then we proceeded to call the emergency number and was questioned multiple times on if we were sure it was the wrong key. After hesitantly believing us a staff member did come by eventually to give us the correct key. In addition to this, we did not receive the room that we had previously payed for/booked. It was supposed to sleep 5 with a queen bed and double bunk bed, however we only received 2 full sized beds and therefore it was hard to fit 5 people like it said we would.

6/10 Good

Overall this property has many amenities. I liked the nature trail that connected the welcome center to the cabins. We were here for an overnight stay. I got a call at 4:50pm to collect payment because offices were closing at 5, but the confirmation said to check in between 3-7pm. Regardless check in was simple with things in a drop box. No check out instructions however, and no one at the welcome center when we went to check out at 8:30am. The cleanliness could have been better, the bathroom corners were dirty and had hair and the sheets had tears in them. Unnecessary comparing to how the property is upkept. I was also disappointed that we got a two queen/ full bed chalet, my reservation stated we were getting a bunk room in one room which have better suited our situation with three kids so things were a little tight. The cabin had everything we needed, the TVs kept freezing on any channel so watching TV was not an option.

4/10 Fair

First day was great…

First day was great the check in was easy the person who checked us in was friendly. The next day after we left out cabin and went to Lagoon all day we came back after 10 pm. Somehow during the day the ac stopped working we came back to the cabin being 89 degrees! We tried the first emergency phone number that was left on the paper hanging in the cabin that number didn’t work so then we had to call the other number that was on the papers they gave us when we checked in. The person on the phone told us to open the widows (no duh!) and turn off the ac for an hour but said they didn’t have anyone to come look at it until morning my husband asked if they had a fan or something to circulate the air, they said maybe but never got a call back. They didn’t offer to move us around so that we could sleep there was no apology. We ended up staying up late into the night because it was too hot to sleep. We had turned the air conditioner off for over 3 hours and finally got it to start cooling down early into the morning. First the the next morning they disable the air conditioner so we couldn’t use it to keep it cool while we were cooking our breakfast so it got hot again really quickly. I don’t feel like they care about the comfort of their guests or if something comes up if it’s after 5 pm they will not do a thing. So disappointed thought I had found a better place to stay besides a hotel but boy I guess I was wrong. Also left if cleaner than we found it.
