Serenity and Beautiful Ocean views

My stay at the Cove was so serene and peaceful. The ambience and decor were 5 stars without breaking the bank. The views of the Ocean were so beautiful and I had all the amenities of stream TV, air conditioning and use of the pool. Everything including shopping, restaurants were all within 10-15 minutes drive. This will be my new go to place whenever I visit St Croix. Thank you for your hospitality. It seems like a lot of love went into the Cove and I appreciated all the attention to details.

Best Experience

I took a lot of time looking into where I wanted to stay for my first time in STX…so many great places on a great island…but when I came across The Cove I couldn’t stop going back and looking at all it had to offer..from the room set up, the area and oh boy the view from the room! So I booked! And I should had started saying I NEVER write reviews but The Cove definitely deserves one for sure! DOUG was amazing and every aspect you would want in a hotel owner! After being delayed coming in due to the storm he was there waiting to help us to our room! I love not having to use a normal room key! The room…the pictures do not do it justice! I didn’t tell my girlfriend about to the because I wanted to surprise her ( add the romance package well worth it!) and The Cove surprised me! Opening the door to see the view in the one is breathtaking and the most comfortable hotel mattress that I have ever slept on! Especially after a long on the beach! My girlfriend surprised me with cake balloons and even candles with a little well a lot of help from Doug!!!! Hands down the best hotel experience I have had in well ever! I just mad I didn’t get to spend more time or hope in the pool ha! I can’t wait to spend another vacation in STX and at The Cove! Close to a lot of everything you want to do! And I asked Doug a lot of questions and he definitely gets a gold star from me!

True Hidden Gem 💎💎💎

I have absolutely nothing bad to say at all about my stay at the Cove Hotel. It is such a hidden gem. The vibes and simplicity of this place outshine anywhere else we probably could’ve stayed on that side of the island. Mr. Doug was so gracious and attentive to us. He made it feel like family and gave us great suggestions. Even though the power went out due to the storms and Hurricane that’s passed close through our way, he kept us well informed and checked on us to make sure we were safe and comfortable. FYI just a heads up to everyone who stays with your phone glued to your hands inside the hotel is your best bet for good WiFi unfortunately poolside not so much but Mr. Doug did inform us of that and if the power goes out the water slows down to a trickle that’s due to the pumping station that circulates the water through since the island main water source is rainwater. The rooms are amazing, very spacious and have a great ocean view. I love the design and layout of how you walk up to your room, it feels like you’re walking into your own home. Just the overall cleanliness and vibes. I can also appreciate how the pictures you see on the booking site are absolutely what you see in real life, no clickbait. Just honest genuine great vibes in the hills of St. Croix. I will definitely be back to visit again.

We had a wonderful two night stay at the Cove. Doug, the owner was very welcoming and gave us lots of tips for places to go. The views from our room and balcony was truly spectacular. The room itself was nicely laid out with a simple elegant furniture and a coffee maker. The pool area is great for lounging in the sun. It is close to the saltwater marsh and not too far from Cane Bay where a food truck comes in the morning for breakfast and there are great bars for food and a sunset drink. This is a great hotel to get away from the crowd and is good value for the price. Thank you

Clean & Comfortable

The owners was amazing are super accommodating and lovely. Guest should know there is no elevator/escalator, phone service is shotty unless in your room using WiFi and food delivery service is difficult. My advice is download Boomerang to order food and rent a car and you should be fine. 💕 But overall loved our room, very clean, relaxing and the bed is super comfortable.

My stay at The Cove was a lovely experience. The hotel has a calm, private, and chic atmosphere that instantly makes you feel relaxed. The room was comfortable, with a great bed and basic amenities. It’s still in the process of being fully styled to match the hotel’s aesthetic, but the overall vibe is already coming together beautifully. What makes The Cove stand out is the personal touch—it’s run by the owners themselves, who are expats and also manage the front desk. Their warm, attentive service made me feel truly welcomed. You can tell they’ve put a lot of love and care into the space, and they’re just about finished reimagining the property’s look and feel. This place is a hidden gem, and I’m excited to see it once everything is complete. I’d happily return for a longer stay!

This hotel is a beautiful oasis on the island paradise of St. Croix. Doug and Martha have taken the greatest care to ensure guests feel welcomed and have everything they could possibly need while you're their guest. The decor is simply beautiful. The space is wonderful and so comfortable. It is in a great location. Close enough to everything on the island while feeling you are tucked away in your special corner of this magical place.

Doug was so sweet and pleasant! He was extremely attentive to our needs and had awesome pointers for food and transportation. He’s truly a vibe!! I would highly recommend staying here. Extremely peaceful, the decor is EVERYTHING, the bed…HEAVEN, and you can’t beat the views. Conveniently located near Cane Bay and not too far from the Rohlsen airport, The Landing, Shupe’s, Toast, etc. Definitely returning!

Wow! Everything about The Cove was exceptional. The pleasant and accessible owners have clearly put their heart and soul Into this venture. Breathtaking decor is tastefully and lovingly executed throughout the public and private spaces. Best of all was the comfort and beauty of the rooms and especially the decadently soft bedding. What a treat to fall into that wonderful nest after a day of running around. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
