Best place to stay in Marrakech

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. It is well staffed and the staff go out of their way to help and are all bilingual. The pool is beautiful and clean. The whole hotel is wonderfully clean. The location is perfect for visiting the markets. The food and buffet breakfast is amazing too.

Nice stay

Staff very helpful and could not do enough for you. Great little idea with traditional tea and biscuits in the lobby We had NO hot water in our room for the duration of our stay. Air con was good. Could do with a mini fridge in the room. Breakfast was very good No alcoholic drinks of any kind for sake if you want anything

Nice hotel and location

Hotel was very clean and the downstairs lobby area very beautiful. The rooms were very basic with not enough storage. The breakfast was excellent ok. Not a lot of options and not executed well.

Excellent stay in Palais Moulay Said. Ideally located a few minutes' walk from Jemaa el-Fnaa Square and the Bahia Palace. The location is perfect for exploring Marrakech on foot. The welcome was warm, the rooms comfortable, and the setting typical and peaceful. I highly recommend it!

Pool was filthy the day we arrived, and closed for cleaning all day the following day, so we were disappointed to have paid extra for an accomodation with pool that we couldn't use. The breakfast was crowded and had the ambiance of a busy cruise ship. Of all the options in Marrakech, there must be better offers.

Disappointing Experience

My family booked a one-night stay to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately, the AC in our room was leaking, and water had spread across the floor. I asked if someone could clean it up, but instead, they sent a maintenance worker to fix the AC drilling into the wall while we were there.

Good Riad, mixed feelings

We had mixed feelings with our stay at this hotel. We were initially given a nice room opposite the restaurant but it was too noisy every night till midnight, and during the day. We were then moved to the third floor room and this was a bit more private and quiet. However, the room had damp walls, rugs were dirty (like not been washed for years) and shower set up / cubicle was poor. Will water flowing into the rest of the bathroom floor, so we had to put towels. But we put up with it. The breakfast was good quality food and tasty. However, it was very much the same thing every day. It would have been good if they changed it and served more fruit. The Riad generally was beautiful, quite central to all the tourist sites and a 5-8 minute walk from Jamaa el-Fnaa square. The staff were excellent, kind, friendly and try hard to make sure guests were happy. Overall, I think I is a great place to stay, but we were a little disappointed with the rooms we were given.

I would avoid where possible. Staff were friendly and welcoming but this is one of the only compliments I could give this Riad. For a 3 night stay we only had hot water from the shower for 1 wash. The pressure of the water trickled out. Our room consisted of a very hard mattress and pillow and a rack with 6 hangers to hang our clothes on. No draws or shelves. There was a problem with the swimming pool, they were trying to fix it all day which meant laying by the pool was stressful. Due to the pool not working properly, water was cloudy and not particularly clean. Breakfast was nice but if you got there 30 minutes before closing they don’t refill what’s empty for you. Very disappointing - we didn’t choose our hotel wisely.

Nous avons passé trois nuits dans cet hôtel, très bien situé auprès des points d'interêt de Marrakech. Le personnel est très accueillant et serviable. L’établissement est joliment décoré dans un style marocain. Il dispose d’un joli jardin avec piscine intérieure et d’un bon restaurant. Le buffet du petit-déjeuner était également très apprécié, offrant un large choix. Seul bémol : dans notre chambre, nous avons entendu du bruit (voix fortes et bruits de moto) toute la nuit, ce qui nous a empêchés de bien dormir.

Vi boede på Palais Moulay i 7 dage, men opholdet var langt fra forventet. Værelse og komfort Værelset var ekstremt lydt – man kunne høre alt fra gangen gennem døren, som havde sprækker. Vi blev vækket hver nat af larm fra gæster og rengøring og måtte købe ørepropper for at få ro. Sengen var hård og ubehagelig, og der var næsten ingen opbevaringsmuligheder. På badeværelset manglede kroge og hylder, så håndklæder og tasker lå på gulvet. Derudover var der et højt trin op til badeværelset, som kan være problematisk for ældre. Maden Morgenmaden var ok, men frokostmenuen ringe. En cheeseburger med gedeost og en pokebowl med laks, der smagte for kraftigt af fisk, gav ikke indtryk af kvalitet. Spa Hotellet markedsføres som spa-hotel, men spa’et ligger på en anden adresse. Faciliteterne var små og billige – en gummimåtte på en bænk fungerede som briks. Under hele behandlingen blev vi forstyrret af larm fra byggeri, hvilket gjorde afslapning umulig. Da vi klagede, tilbød manageren et glas ved poolen, og efter diskussion gav han 5% rabat. At de ikke vil stå på mål for en ydelse solgt under deres navn er kritisabelt. Pool og faciliteter Poolområdet har kun sol få timer om dagen og er uegnet til badeferie. Samlet En enkelt nat kan måske gå an, men vi kan ikke anbefale et længere ophold. Dårlig lydisolering, hård seng, mangelfulde faciliteter, middelmådig mad, skuffende spa og ringe service gjorde besøget til en stor skuffelse.

Riad à faire et refaire

Très bien situé (au cœur du souk et à 5 min de Jamaa El fna). Personnel très agréable, très disponible et souriant. Riad très propre : constamment une dame qui nettoie les parties communes et la chambre est nickel. Les points à améliorer : manque de luminosité dans les chambres, et vétusté de la salle de bain.

Hotel un peu decevant Les chambres ne sont pas nettoyees avant 16h La piscine est prise d assaut ainsi que le peu de transats De ce fait , c est assez bruyant la journee La douche est a peine tiede et nous n avions pas eu d eau le soir de notre arrivee Pas de seche cheveux, ni de quoi poser nos affaires de toilettes En revanche, le personnel est tres gentil et l hotel tres bien placé, pres de la place et des souks , ainsi que pour les taxis
