The stay was just average for the price of the rooms. Very clean, common spaces were nice (fireplace, Christmas trees in December, wood floors), but for almost $400/night, the bed was like sleeping on rocks that sunk in the middle, the gym was the size of a closet with no free weights (not a big deal to most people but it was to me), the pool is tiny and the hot tub looked dirty. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub but I peeked in as I left the “gym” area. The PROS of the property is that the staff was AMAZING, super nice and helpful, the room was clean and the jacuzzi tub was very nice after snowmobiling. The room was cozy but dated, looks nicer in the pictures, just very bland in person. The decor in the registration area at Christmas time was so cute and again, the staff was great!!!! I wouldn’t stay here again for the price but had a nice weekend away from the kids. Also, Yesterday’s cafe right up the road was a great breakfast spot!!!! The $18 “buffet” at the hotel had bread, French toast, home fries, scrambled eggs and sausage. Take the 2 minute drive up the road to Yesterday’s cafe.
