So friendly, and spot-on with recommendations, including suggesting we dine right away, before the fabulous restaurant closed! Convenient location to all we wanted to do. Great activity recommendations!

Amazing little Inn!
Fantastic little inn set in the scenic Green Mountains. Check in and out was super easy with text/digital communication. The common areas of the in are beautiful and accommodating with plenty of seating areas inside an out to enjoy the seasonal setting. I will absolutely be staying again!

Tucker Hill is a quintessential New England Inn. It is historic, cozy, and clean with very comfortable beds. It has a charming, traditional feel to the shared spaces, and is in a quiet neighborhood in a very quaint, ski-adjacent town that has plenty of with restaurants.

The lodge was located in very rural mountains area and the landscape was beautiful and scenic. The property was well kept however they need to consider upgrading their electrical system. The staff were very attentive and responsive to our needs. While they conducted a subway and advised us of the situation in the area. Or needs to be said about the lack of food options or even a general store. But overall, we had a wonderful time in the area was absolutely beautiful.

Good stay
The room and especially the bed were comfortable. The only complaint is a noisy family arrived around midnight and woke me up. It’s not the hotel’s fault but the inconsiderate guests.

We were disappointed that very little was offered in the way of amenities such as breakfast tea. Our room had a patio/balcony that we couldn’t use exit would set off an alarm. Our room was on the second floor and the stairs were very steep. The mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable. The wi-fi was very spotty and kept cutting out. On the good side, our hostess provided ice for my husband who has a fractured ankle. She was very pleasant. There really wasn’t anything to eat for breakfast so it would be nice if even a continental breakfast was offered.

Tucker Hill lodge is under brand new management. Dana and Zan are welcoming and accommodating. The lodge is within minutes drive from both Mt Ellen and Sugar Bush ski areas, The rooms, although small, are newly decorated and immaculate. The communal areas - a “den” with armchairs, rugs and an open fire, and another area with tables and complimentary tea and coffee - are warm and inviting. There are facilities for either a restaurant/dining room or else self-catering for a group of families holidaying. The kitchen will be up and running when the right staff are located. Will certainly stay again!

Be prepared to take your life in your hands attempting to ascend the 6 inch deep mud slop covering the hill driveway during the spring. With deep ditches to either side, it was a terrifying experience.
We stayed at the Lodge for three days and never saw a human who identified as working there, so don’t expect any in-person assistance or questions answered. There is no food apart from some pay-as-you-go snacks in the lobby.
Worst of all, when my child had a ski accident and we needed to cut our vacation short, Tucker Hill Lodge informed us over text that they would offer no credit or refund for the three remaining nights on our booking. I suppose it’s easy to have such a shockingly unkind policy when you hide your entire staff behind texting and never need to look anyone in the eye.
Rooms are cramped.
