Very nice front desk people, also 24 hour front desk. Our room had a little private balcony which is nice (I think all do) pool was nice (open til 7 pm) . Parking on street was regular trying to find a spot but they have a private lot also but about 10-15 spots. About 5 min drive from airport and 5-10 min drive to the fortress/downtown. Nice quiet safe location.

The Sofia Hotel was just what i expected it to be. It was a hotel near the airport that was very convenient to stay at the night before our flight so that we could be at the airport very early. We rented this hotel for easy access to the Heraklion airport for a morning flight. It is very convenient to the airport and was a very short cab ride away. That is the main attraction here. It is clean enough, and safe enough, and close enough. Nothing else is significant to note. very average hotel.
