We had one of the larger rooms in the "villa" annex, and it was very spacious and comfortable. Everything was very modern, including window blinds that are operated electrically. It took a bit of experimentation to figure out what all the switches did. The walk-in shower was especially nice.

We had a great experience staying at the Schweitzerhof Basel! We found breakfast to be quite good , the staff extremely helpful and friendly and the bed was very comfortable. It is just a few yards from the central train station, which was very convenient, as we arrived by train and its quite well located to walking around the alt stadt.

The Schweizerhof is a very modern and comfortable hotel. Quiet and comfortable rooms. The hotel has excellent facilities including a bar on the ground and ice and fresh water rooms on each floor. The breakfast was great. Great transport links with the train and tram outside. I liked as a hotel guest the hotel gives you a free pass around Basel. I highly recommend the hotel.

This is a great hotel - perfect if being near the main station/transport is important. It’s a very traditional place in terms of decor but everything was immaculate and well looked after - our room was really spacious and even had an exercise bike which we weren’t expecting!
