Wonderful stay at beautiful tivoli

Had an amazing stay as a couple at Tivoli resort for a two day break en route to a wedding in Praia de forte. The room was incredibly comfortable, good AC and we had a convenient location to the beach, pools and restaurants. The internet was the only thing that was not good - even in our room - it was a little hard to be connected. the service was great across the board. Worth noting that the main food location was a buffet - but was delicious, particularly breakfast. We only ate dinner one night.

The resort is nice, great swimming pools and nice staff. It was winter time, the hotel was empty (around 30% of occupation). It was strongly raining on our last day. With a night flight, the reception had a completely lack of customer orientation. We stayed more than 4 hours on the wet and cold reception, without any drink offering. It was really disappointing for such a hotel.

The staff was amazing and sincerely nice. The property is noticeably old in construction. A portion of the flooring is slippery when wet because it is tile flooring. Other areas have a more of a stone/clay like non-slip flooring. I was a solo traveler and it is about a 15min. walk up to the local town with more affordable shopping and better restaurants than the ones provided by this resort. In addition, it's great being immersed within the vibe of the local community. It was a big disappointment when I was told I had to wear a shirt with sleeves to dinner at the resort, as I had no idea there was a "dress code" and considering how much money you will pay per night to stay here, I should be able to eat at a beach resort, with a tank top on. Needless to stay during my 3-nights here, I only ate dinner once on site and it really wasn't excellent and it doesn't start until 7pm. There are security cameras everywhere, which was a bit creepy. In addition, they have security guards in the beach area too. I can't recommend this resort to any solo travelers. You will have a more enjoyable, affordable and comfortable stay at a pousada in the village. If you have a family and kids, which is what I saw more of and older couples (60yrs. ) then you'll probably enjoy this place.

Os funcionários linha de frente são inflexíveis: frequento o Tivoli desde dona Angélica, ao chegar pedi que meu bloco fosse o 5( dentro da minha categoria ),pois é um pouco mais próximo à recepção. A atendente disse q não podia pois teria um casamento e estava cheio.Passei todos os dias em frente ao bloco 5, quase todo vazio . Fui embora sábado e o casamento seria domingo, bloco ainda vazio . Mesmo se tivesse cheio, pq os convidados teriam preferências e eu não ?, reservei o Tivoli meses atrás…. Fico pensando se isso tem haver com ter sido a reserva por aqui(?!) Passei os dias com tempo nublado ,temperatura mais baixa. Pedi 2x q ligassem o aquecedor da piscina, enfim consegui q ligassem apenas 1 deles( são 3), não adiantou nada, com relação a temperatura da piscina. A equipe da limpeza é receptiva, o sr “Big” do restaurante é muito gentil. Meninas da recepção do spa pouco gentis, carrinhos do Tranfer dentro do hotel ,salvo excessões,mal educados . Equipe atendentes piscina muito boa. Enfim, entendo q a equipe possa ter altos e baixos, mas funcionários de linha de frente: NUNCA! A minha maior decepção foi com a resposta da atendente q fez o check in!

Atrasaram 2 horas par liberar quarto para realizar check-in Quarto com cheiro de mofo (estava com outras pessoas em outros quartos que relataram mesma coisa) Quartos muito longe da área comum do hotel. Tem que andar muito para chegar a área comum. Oferecem um transporte com carro elétrico porém demora muito para buscar Demoram para realizar a limpeza diária do quarto. Teve um dia da hospedagem que eles não tinham ainda realizado a limpeza e eram 14 horas. Jantar oferecido com pouca variedade e qualidade de comida. Nenhum ambiente tem ar condicionado. Deveriam pelo menos disponibilizar ambiente com ar condicionado no restaurante

O quarto foi o único problema, pois não tinha box com isolamento da água do banho, o que fazia o banheiro ficar muito molhado e anti-higiênico. Equipe com bom atendimento, tendo destaque para o funcionário Eli, que sempre estava de bom humor e muito prestativo, está de parabéns. Fui em família e a hospedagem foi muito agradável.
