Hotel was very clean although a little dated. All the staff are very friendly, Food was really nice, not a huge choice for evening meals but there was still enough choice for us. We originally came for afternoon tea and decided to stay the night. We stayed in the 4 poster bed room. It was very spacious & clean although the bed wasn't very comfortable

The ceiling in the room was mouldy and sagging as if had water behind it. Skirting board under the window was rotten and hanging off. This room would not have been out of place in the 60’s and Faulty Towers. Staff didn’t really seem to care when I asked for my money back. I was looking forward to staying here after a 6 hour drive, this is a place I would never consider or recommend to anyone. Super dated and not worth the money.

A historic hotel with an old world feel. Everywhere was immaculately clean and the staff were very welcoming and attentive. Our room was large and quiet. The food (dinner and breakfast) were really good. Will stay again.
