The stay itself was great. Staff very friendly. We stayed here twice, a week apart (with a holiday to Albania in between). We used their eco-friendly private transfer service for 20€ from both the airport and the port. However, on our return trip to the airport, we paid the 20€ private transfer fee, but were bundled into the taxi with 2 other couples, who had also paid 20€. This made the transfer very uncomfortable, in a tight backseat in 36 degree heat… and for 60€! We would have been happy to make the journey shared, if the cost of the transfer was split (20€ between 6). When we provided this feedback to the hotel management (as requested in a departure email), we were completely ignored. Very poor customer service to end what otherwise was a great stay

We arrived late into Corfu and needed one night layover before getting a ferry over to Albania. Very clean and spacious hotel and room. Great pizza place 1 minute away. Sadly the breakfast was on too late for us to sample.

Long weekend at Folies

We found the room to be clean and spacious with all of the amenities needed for self catering. Aircon was powerful in the room but unfortunately we found the beds to be uncomfortable and they’d definitely benefit from a decent mattress topper. The hotel offers towel rental at €5 a towel, but they didn’t have any available which was slightly annoying given we were only here for a long weekend. The pool area is clean and there is a bar which is open until around 8pm that serves good quality food and drink. Just outside of the hotel you can catch a bus for €2 Euro to Corfu Old Town which was really convenient. Overall enjoyable stay.

Property was better than expected after reading some reviews on trip advisor. Rooms were spacious as were the grounds. Pool bar staff were good although menu was very limited, it must be the only place in Corfu that doesn’t serve pitta and tzatziki and cheese and ham toasties would be a nice option. Water was off on at least one morning without no prior warning which was a bit of a shock as I was halfway through a shave at the time. Bus stop right outside the hotel took you into the centre of Corfu Town in five minutes or so, which was very handy. All in all a pleasant stay in Corfu Town which is centrally located to the island so great location especially if you’re planning on exploring the rest of the island.

Fantastic stay, even if it was only for 1 night! All the staff are friendly, from gardeners to bar staff. Pool bar very well stocked and reasonably priced. Pool area very clean with plenty of sunbeds. Short walk into the Old Town, or a bus if it gets a bit hot! Offer a very reasonably priced private transfer to/from airport and ferry port. Pictures don’t do this property justice, would 100% recommend to anyone!

Enjoyed our 5 night break at the Folies .Room clean and tidy , everything you needed in the kitchen area. The maid service was really good . Could not have had nicer ladies cleaning our room . Pool area very clean and bar staff friendly . Reception staff very helpful and quick check in on arrival. All in all a Very relaxing stay.
