讓人無法入睡的噪音

我們總共住了四晚，一開始的住宿體驗是好的，沒想到第二晚開始就是惡夢的開始，晚上十點多左右，房間樓下對面的pub開始了排隊人潮，吵雜喧鬧聲加上音樂聲，到了十一點多開始進入更震撼的重低音，整晚震動吵鬧到不行，實在受不了，訊息給客服，來回多則訊息後，說可以幫我們換房間，無奈之下，只好半夜整理行李換房間，房間比之前的小，但也沒選擇了，總比吵到不能睡好，結果，沒想到換過後的房間冷氣無法調整，甚至無法關掉，跟客服訊息來來回回還是無法處理，只好整晚吹著強冷風勉強入睡，當時已經半夜兩三點了。沒想到第三晚，晚上十點多音樂吵鬧又開始了，這次感覺跟昨天不一樣的音樂來源，比較還是演奏歌唱的聲音，跟客服反應，說當日所有房間已滿，沒有辦法解決，結果一直聽著噪音到半夜兩點聲音沒了才入睡，真的是快瘋了！

Hébergement confortable et propre. Situation un peu compliquée pour le stationnement, mais une fois le parking public trouvé, ça fonctionne. L'emplacement est intéressant, qui permet de découvrir une offre de restauration moins touristique. Mention spéciale au restaurant Court-Bouillom qui se trouve juste dessous l'hôtel, une aventure culinaire!

Tout était correct pour une nuit, mais je n'y serais pas restée plus longtemps. La chambre était trop petite, et les environs étaient pratiques mais pas très agréables. Cela dit, tout était très propre dans l'hôtel. J’ai réalisé que les hôtels sans service ne me conviennent pas. C’est très personnel : j’ai besoin de voir du monde, et je n’avais pas anticipé cela. Ce n’est pas la faute de l’hôtel, le concept est très clair sur le site web. Ils répondent rapidement aux messages, ce qui est appréciable.

Great stay ruined by bad parking experience

The hotel was nice. The location was convenient. The neighbourhood of Saint Roch is an interesting mix of locals, tourists, and homeless. The homeless were fine; never felt threatened, but then I'm used to it working in Toronto. What was the biggest let down and the reason I gave an average score overall and an average score for service was the parking. The Patrick and the woman in virtual support on the phone were great. They were helpful in ensuring that my parking was valid after the email mix up was cleared up. The problem was the damn bar code reader to get into the garage via the "man-door." I thought it was me, but no it is the reader. I planned on leaving early 0600h on Sunday September 14 to drive back to Toronto, but the reader wasn't scanning the bar code on Rue Saint-Dominique. After 1/2 hr I tried standing on the sensor at the front of the garage door on Rue Monseigneur Gauvreau. That didn't work. Instead I asked who lived in the condo next door to let me in. Thankfully they believed my story and maybe because I was also nice to their dog, they let me use the elevator in the condo and I got to my car. I know the bar code was fine and that I know how to use the scanner. That's why I'm home writing this and not still stuck in the garage. Overall it was a great stay sadly marred by the trouble with the scanner on Rue Saint-Dominique.

Thank you! Merci! Chambre très propre et incroyablement confortable. Nous avions le calme total pour dormir sans se faire déranger des bruits d'une ville. On a beaucoup apprécié la petite cuisine et le frigo pour y mettre nos "doggy Bags" et la grande table pour planifier nos balades dans la ville de Quebec. Le rideau qui sépare les deux grands lits était immensément apprécié. Une peux encore lire et l'autre dormir sans se faire déranger. Quelle bonne idée! Le restaurant Court-bouillon tout en bas est aussi une bonne adresse sympa et très accueillant. Le seule bémol sont les 3 étages d'escaliers sans ascenseur avec des valises. Un de vos futurs projets? Merci et bon vent!

Dommage, très bruyant…

Nous avons passé deux nuits dans cet hôtel dont un samedi soir. Nous aurions aimé savoir que nous étions au-dessus (ou tout du moins très proche) d’un bar avec musique à fond et basses très fortes… nous avions l’impression d’y être ! La nuit a donc été très courte. Le quartier est tout de même assez bruyant, de nombreuses personnes criaient dans la rue la nuit. De nombreuses personnes sans abris sont également présente dans cette rue. Le lendemain, le personnel de chambre était passé dans la chambre pour refaire le lit mais la porte de la chambre avait été mal refermée… La porte de notre chambre est donc restée ouverte et donc accessible à tous alors que toutes nos affaires y étaient présentes. Des points négatifs qui font descendre notre niveau de satisfaction, alors que la chambre était tout à fait agréable au niveau de la taille et des aménagements (refaits à neuf), c’est dommage !
