A Good central hotel

The staff were very friendly and accomodated an early check in, which was really appreciated, the room was spacious and clean (room 618)& the hotel offered a wonderful breakfast. Quite centrally located only 2 or 3 stops from central station & the tram stops right outside so easy to around however street view rooms do experience street noise but nothing which had any signifant effect on my stay.

Sehr zentrale Lage, die perfekt ist um alles Sehenswerte in Oslo zu Fuß zu erreichen. Gute Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet. Das Zimmer war zur Nebenstraße raus, aber man konnte den anliegenden Pub/Bar noch deutlich hören und somit nur mit geschlossenem Fenster schlafen. Insgesamt würde ich 4/5 Sternen vergeben.

Disappointing experience

The hotel was disappointing. We have stayed at other Scandic properties and this was not the same. The carpet in the hallways and room was very dirty. The doors to the hotel room were hard to open. No floor towel in the bathroom made it slippery. Breakfast was ok but the room was overflowing. I would not stay here again and don't think it should be 4 stars.
