The property is in need of a renovation, very outdated. Airconditioning took all night to get cold. Sheets were stained and worn out. There was a cockroach in my room! Chose this for convenience of being near the US Embassy. My advise to others, book Bayview Park or some other hotel nearby.

Art Deco Gem in Old Manila

Pleasantly surprised by the condition and cleanliness of the 80 year old building. We had early morning business at the U.S. Embassy, and this location was perfect! Comfortable room for great value. Will definitely stay here again should we require a room in this part of Manila in the future.

The room was a good size, hotel stuff is helpful and friendly. The air cond in a room produced a lot of noise which wasn't great. The towels and bed linen could be in a better state (seemed like they also been there since WW2 times).

Nice restaurant decor, room sucks

goo and the bad. Really nice art decor in restaurant with piano, really nice. Room small, very little light, could not ben rad the paper at night. Not a safe place to walk either. Wou ld never stay there again.

Nice for the US Embassy area

The hotel is a historic hotel from pre WWII Manila. Consequently the elevator did not work for part of our stay and we had to ascend the stairs to the fourth floor. The staff was nice. I asked about the fee for late check out and was informed it was the same as the daily rate I paid for the room and the staff was given no flexibility to change that so we checked out on time. Nice for the US Embassy area
