Das Positive vorweg: Die Lage des Palazzo Vitagliano ist unschlagbar zentral in Amalfi, die Aussicht auf das Meer ist spektakulär und das Personal war aussergewöhnlich freundlich und professionell. Der negative Punkt betrifft jedoch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir haben lange im Voraus gebucht und für unser kleines Zimmer fast 300 Euro bezahlt. Für den gebotenen Standard war das Zimmer zu diesem Preis schlichtweg zu teuer, selbst für das hohe Preisniveau der Amalfiküste zu diesem Zeitpunkt. Umso frustrierender war die Feststellung, die wir am Nachmittag nach unserem Check-in machten: Die deutlich grössere 50-qm-Suite war für denselben Tag günstiger zu haben als der Preis, den wir für unser kleines Zimmer gezahlt hatten. Angesichts dieser Preisdiskrepanz hätten wir – als Frühbucher zu diesem überhöhten Preis – ein proaktives Upgrade als faire Geste des Hauses erwartet, was leider nicht geschah.

Darn near a perfect stay. Superior location and excellent staff. The ladies did a great job of greeting us and putting us at ease while the gentlemen worked hard to bring us our breakfast and haul our luggage up and down for us. Breakfast was good and we were thrilled to eat in our room.

Lovely room with the best views!

This hotel is amazing! I would/will come back here and stay time and time again. The staff are so nice and friendly, and want to make your stay as easy as possible. The location of the hotel could not be more prime. So easy to get to, and the views are amazing! The room was beautiful, modern and clean. They brought breakfast to your room, and even made multiple accommodations for my dietary restrictions! Everything about it made us sad that we had to leave! We will be back someday!

This was an excellent place to stay in Amalfi. Staff were very kind, the room was great, the view was amazing. Very close walking distance from the ferry, the main shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again! The only negative thing I would say is that it’s very close to the main road and because of this it was not the quietest at night but if your not a light sleeper this should not be a problem.

This is an amazing B&B! Perfect location. Great amenities. The balcony with private jacuzzi was amazing!!! We communicated with staff via WhatsApp and that was so helpful throughout the trip - they supported us with transportation, restaurant recommendations and reservations, etc. Great value for the price. 10/10 recommend!!!

Fantastiskt boende i centrala Amalfi!

Fantastiskt boende på alla sätt och vis! Rena, fräscha rum med utsikt över havet och hamnen. Det är mycket ljud från hamnen och busstationen, men stänger du fönstret blir det nästan helt tyst. Fantastisk personal, som hjälper dig med allt mellan himmel och jord. De har varit vänliga och hjälpsamma innan, under och efter vår vistelse. Jag kan inte rekommendera detta boende nog! 11 av 10 i betyg. Amalfi var fantastiskt fint och skulle jag åka hit igen skulle jag bo på Palazzo Vitagliano utan att blinka.
