Our family stayed one night in the private room/bathroom to be close to the airport. The property was clean and conveniently located to the historic downtown. Filipe met us upon arrival and was both punctual and helpful. We would stay here again.

Good stay, one night, on route to airport. Very kind and helpful staff, clean comfortable room with nice ensuite. Only one minor problem was the stairs as we had two large, heavy cases. Good value and location

Not the best but also probably not the worst!

Location was good, room was okay, the bathroom was very smelly - the drain seemed to just smell throughout our stay, fairly unpleasant Quite noisy as well, had people trying to come into our room in the middle of the night which wasn’t ideal! Overall it was okay, an alright bed to sleep in in a good location - fine if you plan to be out and about all day!

Value for money, great location

Very value for money. We had a very large family room (probably the biggest room we have stayed in). Location is fantastic too, very close to everything. Service was great, we arrived at midnight and Filipe was there to check us in with a smile. Facilities: fairly basic bedding, has got a small kitchen with a microwave. Given the low price we pay, we thought this was very good value. Building: the building itself is beautiful!

Très central mais confort moyen

Pratique car très central, par contre le parking n'est pas facile, donc quand il faut porter les bagages c'est moins drôle...et on doit monter un escalier pr accéder au logement. Le confort est correct mais il ne faut pas regarder de trop près la propreté (taches sur les couettes et drap, poussière sous les lits) De plus nous avions une mauvaise odeur d'égout dans la chambre qui venait de la salle de bain.

First time in Faro and Algarve

Albergaria Formosa is a simple guest house with all the essential facilities. It is conveniently located just off the busy street, and a few minutes walk from the bus and train stations. These is a communal kitchen that all the guests can use to make food. Flippe contacted me for my arrival time and provided me with the entry code for the main entrance access so I could leave my suitcase with the cleaning staff I’m a locked room before check in time. There is a comfortable sitting room where guests can hang out and wait for check in. There is certain charm in staying in a renovated historic building in the middle of Faro.

Lovely place with rooms around an open air courtyard. Good location close to the old town. Took me a while to figure out the front door lock. Worked much better when I read the instructions properly!

Vores badeværelse lugtede rigtig dårligt og så var afløbet delvist stoppet. Vores puder var ikke god at sove med. Beliggenheden var godt og service fra Felipe var godt. Tekøkken var lidt lille og meget åben og der var lugtgener fra den.

Es una casa grande que está en remodelación, han adecuado varios cuartos pero pequeños. Nuestro baño estaba sucio, no habían sacado la basura de los huéspedes anteriores y la ducha se tapaba. A parte nos habían puesto un papel higiénico comenzado y como estaba en remodelación teníamos el andamio en nuestra ventana sin poder abrirla. Tal vez después de los arreglos este mejor.
