If you are travelling by rail, stay here instead of more expensive places like Basingstoke or Farnborough. It is a quaint pub/restaurant hotel which is basic but well maintained and very friendly. I felt safe staying here as a solo female.

A 2 night stay, the Inn is comfortable, the owners and staff are friendly and efficient. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order. There is a train station within metres of the Inn with a frequent service to London. We would definitely stay here again if passing through.

Very clean and comfortable room. Service was very good and hotel personnel were helpful and friendly. Beautiful setting in lovely old inn. The only thing I would suggest is to have a full-length mirror in the room.

Our stay over just one night suited perfectly, we were visting relations in Southampton as well as Woking albeit we live near Banbury - so the location really worked. Further more there was a good choice of food and drink, a comfortable room and friendly hosts. We will be returning.
