An amazing old 16 th century hotel right in the middle of everything. Great friendly staff all of whom made us and my dog really really welcome. Great place to stay. Room was clean though the bathroom sink took a while to drain. Parking was good enough and as I had the dog with me our breakfast was served in the bar which was really very nice. Great place to stay

Our family room was perfect for us - my daughter loved the bunk beds and having the outdoor area was lovely and so handy for our dog. The breakfast was lovely, the staff were very friendly and we could even charge our electric car. The location was perfect too. There was nothing I would change about our stay!

We love Lyme Regis and The Royal Lion Hotel. It is historic and charming.The rooms are large and comfortable.It has a new indoor pool. The food is great. It is in the high street so very close to shops, restaurants, bars,and cafes, and of course the sea and the quaint Cobb.

Hotel looks a bit well worn when you walk up, but inside it is nicely furnished. Our 3-bed room (25) was newly refurbished, very comfortable, quiet (but no view). Breakfast fine. Parking on site is a bit tight but it works fine. Hotel is in a great location, hotel staff excellent, very friendly. Maybe need some new carpets sometime but in the big picture, a really good stay in Lyme Regis.
