All was OK but it was a little older than I thought it was going to be. Minimal amenities but bed slept well and shower was hot. That's all I really needed.

Not a fun time

They lost our reservations and put us in the handycao room very basic room water pressure in shower was a spinkle. Very shady place alot of homeless people outside buildings.

The bathroom had no towel rack to hang your towel to dry. There is no shelf in the bathroom for one to put their toiletries while shaving or brushing your teeth. Water pressure is unsat. No hand hold for exiting the shower's slippery plastic floor. I give this report to help the owner know what needs looked at because I like the town and want this hotel to be a draw for the town. Its been a grand old place for generations.

I made my reservation online. I went to the hotel. They told me they couldn’t find my reservation, but they said I could go ahead and get a room if I pay for it again Expedia needs to not deal with the Rochester hotel. I’ve never had a problem using. Expedia before this. I am completely dissatisfied and disgusted by this hotel.

Front desk vacant. Had to call for her to come down to check in. She brought her kids. Acted as if we were inconveniencing her to check in. Room was nice. Acceptable if you want only a place to sleep. No amenities. On street parking. Poor signage.

Room had dirty floor - stained bed sheet. Found small bug on bed sheets. Bathroom had only shower stall - no bath tub. Okay place to stay if only one night. Being not pet friendly was main reason for staying there -

Overwhelmed and Thankful!

Cool little place and a cool little town. The bar and pool tables are excellent. The breakfast at the restaurant in the morning was outstanding. Service was top quality and the food was delicious! My girlfriend and I we're overly impressed with everything. I'm not sure exactly what her title was but a girl named Sky went above and beyond to accommodate a late check-in for us. I'm not sure that this would happen every time but we were in a little bit of a different situation after a crazy weekend that we had had. They were very understanding of our situation and Sky totally and completely went out of her way to meet us. I'm not sure if they would do this for anyone, but it was an extraordinary gesture of her to meet us at a late hour. Thank you again Sky! If we are ever in the area again I would 110% stay at the hotel again!

I was waited on by the owner Ken who was very kind and gracious but the employees were nowhere to be found when needed. This hotel is a Landmark of Rochester and very old but updated. The cleaning could have been much better but was not the worse I have ever encountered. They do offer free WiFi and is conveniently located in downtown Rochester. There is multiple stores within walking distance.
