I reached out to staff ahead of time to request early check in and was told it should not be a problem”depending if the room is ready. This in itself meant nothing really, but based on my pretty extensive travel experience typically the request is noted and first available room is given to guests that requested early check in. I arrived around 1pm and was told check in is at 3 sharp and my room is not ready- without even asking for my reservation details. Your reception desk has a note about no early check ins during summer season, which ends on 8/31. This implies there is early check in option for additional charge during other times. I came back at 2:55pm and was again told I cannot be checked in early, and the check in STARTS at 3, and at 3pm I was told my room is not ready. At no point did the receptionist tried to find other available rooms, until I explicitly told her to do so, then she passed me to another staff member. I expressed earlier that we are going to a wedding and just need access to bathroom to change (no public bathroom in the lobby either), and received zero customer service or attempt for accommodation.
This is by far the worst stay I have ever experienced in my life, and will never stay here again, and make sure none of my friends or family does.
In addition, there was mold around the tub, and the air was very stale in the room 125 where we ended up (even though I did pay extra for better room) for which no one bothered to offer refund in difference.
