Das Hotel liegt am Berg und ist durch ein Gewirr von Gassen etwas schwierig zu erreichen. Dafür genießt man von oben eine großartige Aussicht sowohl Richtung Meer als auch Richtung Berge. Das Hotel ist von einem wunderbaren privaten Park umgeben, den man über Hängebrücken mit einem sehr bemühten und professionellen Guide (bei uns war es José) kostenlos erkunden kann. Der Checkin findet am Schranken beim Eingangshäuschen statt, danach geht's über ein paar steile Rampen nach oben zum Parkplatz (One way). Zimmer und Bad sind geräumig. Ganz sauber war nicht alles (insbesondere am Balkon), aber mit der Natur vor der Tür kann es nicht anders sein. Frühstücksraum und gleichzeitig Restaurant bieten einen wunderschönen Blick auf's Meer. Auswahl, Qualität und Sauberkeit sind dort allerdings nicht wirklich ansprechend. Mit ein paar Abstrichen waren wir aber schon zufrieden und würden auch wieder dort buchen.

We checked in at night (9 PM) and there were no parking spaces to begin with. Had to park the car behind another and there was no one help. Entered the room to find bugs on the floor and hair in the shower and bathroom area. I understand that it is difficult to control bugs but have the floor full of dead mosquitos and other bugs gave the impression the room was cleaned a long time ago. The bedsheets were dusty. My got rashes and was itching and coughing all night. We lost our sleep and had to check out early to find another place last minute. I hope this was a one-off and others don’t face this. The property itself was located in a beautiful spot and wildlife was abundant but we couldn’t enjoy it.

The views are spectacular and you can see Toucans, Macaws and other beautiful birds without trying. My room was lovely and bed very comfortable, great shower. Breakfast is basic. Staff were very nice and provide golf cart to take you from the entrance to the hotel when you need it.

The hotel is located on top of the mountain park, the whole park is very eco-friendly, you are surrounded by lots of plants and animals. Guests can enjoy the free morning guided walk tour, the room mountain view is remarkable, 15 minutes driving to Manuel Antonio park, love this place!

Our room was separate from the main building, so it was a bit inconvenient having to walk up steep road or trail. Our balcony was very small that one can only stand in it; a chair cannot fit. The staff was awesome. The location was perfectly secluded. We saw more sloths at the hotel property than at the national park. Would definitely stay again.

Unfortunately we had just arrived in Costa Rica and drove there, arriving to the hotel after 10:30 pm. The digital keypad did not work. We tried many times, messaged, texted to let them know the code was not correct and we could not get into our room. We were not able to get in touch with anyone. We even contacted Hotels.com; they were not able to contact anyone as well. We sat for hours in the open space lounge area; hearing all the wildlife and monkeys; nervous, tired, upset. After much help from Hotels.com - Kharisma; she was able to find another hotel that was open and had a room for the three of us. We were very disappointed in that fact that we were not able to stay there; as we were so looking forward to it! Additionally there was a couple arguing loudly and the woman crying. It didn’t sound like a good situation. I have not been to a hotel where there was no overnight staff, security or someone to help in case of an emergency; especially in a hotel located in the middle of the jungle. Super disappointing and I felt; bad business. As mentioned before we want to extend a special shout out to Kharisma; from Hotels.com. She was our angel! She went above and beyond … and even helped us get connected with her when the WiFi dropped. She should get a special recognition and bonus. Outstanding professional through and through.

The staff was wonderful. We did go to happy hour the second night. The bartender was awesome. I asked about the happy hour cookies. Since there were none, he brought us the most incredible cheese cake that his wife made. All staff were great. Available when needed. Just send a WhatsAp message.

We hd to messge on WhatsAp to get a key for the safe. There are stairs. The reception is down a very steep hill. You have to get a golf cart up to the top. The bridges take about 20 minutes to walk youself. Good breakfast. Nice staff. Happy hour 2 for 1. 4 to 6 pm. The bartender started late. We got there at 4:10, he said it would take 20 minutes to set up, so we left.

Lo mejor de la habitación es la vista, su balcón y la limpieza, no es espaciosa pero es suficiente y acorde a lo que se ve en fotos. El servicio del personal es bastante agradable, te invita a estar en el hotel para sentirte atendido. El desayuno es bueno, y lo mejor también es la vista en el restaurante.

Hôtel en hauteur avec belle vue, bonne accueil. Personnel agréable. On a apprécié la balade en forêt gratuite avec le guide de l'hôtel. On peut voir des animaux en prenant le petit-déjeuner ou près des balcons. Bon petit-déjeuner varié avec fruits frais, œufs brouillés, toasts,... Dommage que le café ne soit pas à la hauteur. Chambre propre et spacieuse, très bon Wi-Fi. Place de parking devant l'hôtel.
