Wow, just wow. I had a 3rd floor courtyard facing unit. Elevator available. So no overhead noise. The one bedroom had a lot of room. It was just me occupying. The separate living room was great to be able to invite guests over. It is a very antique-y look, but it works for New Orleans. I had no problem with the door codes as I arrived as a late check-in after the front desk closed. They worked on the first try. And I walked everywhere in the french quarter even though I had a 7 day Jazzy pass (trolley). Did laundry in their new machine (only one☹️ washer/dryer). Bring detergent. A few cons: hotel door slams loud automatically, pool could be heated, wish they did a daily trash pick up instead of having to take trash down to the trash barrel on first floor. Walls are thin, so we had some noisy neighbors a couple nights. Get a unit facing the courtyard. Cuts down dramatically on street noise.

Great location that's walking distance to everything. Check-in and checkout was very easy. The staff was accommodating and nice. Cute and quaint condo in the French Quarter. It's perfect for any length of stay. You can hear street level noise from time to time, but it's in the French Quarter, what else would you expect. It's truly a hidden gem. I'll be booking here again when I come back to the Big Easy.

Great location. Close to all the party spots but far enough away to be quiet when your ready to relax. Great small, neighborhood bars about every block going down burgundy in case you want to skip the madness of bourbon. Not a negative, but be warned the spiral staircase in the city condo is STEEP and will not be accessible to people with mobility issues.

Great location. Management was super friendly and accommodating. The only complaint is that it was extremely noisy. Lots of loud music and sirens. We would love to stay again but only if we can secure a suite away from the street.

Great place to stay!

We loved our stay at Chateau Orleans! The staff were very kind and friendly. The hotel is conveniently located in the French Quarter, an easy walking distance from Canal and Bourbon St. The courtyard was beautiful and the balcony was a pleasant surprise to our room! Highly recommend.

The enclosed courtyard is beautiful... palm trees, clean pool, nice chairs to stretch out on... I had a 3rd floor walk-up but being able to open French doors to a balcony overlooking the courtyard was WORTH it. The lady who checked me in was amazingly friendly. I have zero complaints about this place and no comments that aren't good. I would go again in a heartbeat.

Surprised at how amazing our stay was!

We arrived to New Orleans in the early afternoon after driving all night, after parking our car and walking around we were exhausted and had HOURS until check in. We decided to check out the hotel and when we got there the lady at the front desk was so nice, she immediately let us check in and gave us our keys at no extra charge. The property is beautiful and right in the perfect location. The stairs (we were 4th floor) are hell! But we knew what we booked. Every experience here was amazing. Each worker we came into contact with was extremely pleasant and helpful. Extremely happy with this find! Cannot wait to come back with our kids! If you’re looking for a small local hotel, this is the place for you!
